AEPH - CRUSADE (LFTD018)

Parisian artist December steps up in this week's instalment of the Rhythmic Culture mix series. December’s music is a nightly one. Always on the edge between party and spleen, it questions the sensitivity taboo in techno, alternating dry rhythmic punishments and synthesizers coloured with a worried melancholy.

In the course of 80 minutes, December shifts back and forth between mesmerising scapes and rhythms–from slow to fast and back–brought with confidence and class.

Born in Utrecht, and based in Rotterdam, Kimmah has picked up ideas and inspirations from every city she’s called home. These environments fused her love for raw electronic music with her interest in spatial design and creating safer club spaces, as she was involved in writing policies to protect the dance floor experience for dancers and artists.
