Previously one half of Footprintz, Clarian has released on on Visionquest, Turbo, Life and Death and Culprit as a solo artist, not to mention his acclaimed collaborations with Guy Gerber and Seth Troxler.

Combining the warm hum and factory grit of analog machinery, sequencers, and haunted strings, his tracks transport the listener into alternate states of mind. Laced in homemade beats and toxic hooks, Clarian is on the fringe between experimental house and pseudo pop, re-imagining tones into an addictive cocktail with his signature dance floor poetry.

Today we premiere Clarian's latest offering on Anjunadeep entitled ‘Kill For Love.’ The track kicks off the three-track EP with tantalising keys and mournful vocals, wrapped around a surging acid bassline.

From the birth of his career in 2011, Rome-native Whitesquare has been championed by many successful DJs and producers. The newest signing to the Leeds imprint and 20/20 Vision family, Whitesquare marks a shift in direction for both label and artist with Peaks.

The release signifies more than a few beginnings; the start of summer, a change in production values for Whitesquare and a re-branding of the label. Peaks pure and euphoric 4 tracks of melodic, deep and emotive house and techno effortlessly bridges these gaps.

Both A-sides Someone Else and About The Past are characterised by a mellow lyricism that progresses into steady dance floor cuts. Whilst, B-side Abraxas and 'Peaks' shift gear into deeper techno territory, containing a darker agenda, swirling into compelling compositions in their own right. The union between Whitesquare and 2020 Vision seems like a perfect fit and with more releases in the pipeline, this is certainly only the beginning.

Two of our scene's leading progressive breaks artists have come together on Particles to remix Sed's "Law of Physics"-- a dark, cinematic breaks track originally released on the "Future Able" debut EP from Dutch production duo Jean-Paul Grobben and Serge Dusault, featuring the vocals of Lisette van den Berg. 

A euphoric, downtempo remix is in from Aeron Aether, ! the director behind Silk's "Arrival" music label, an outright ! force in the Hungarian progressive scene having recently collaborated on vocal productions with Matt Darey and appeared on Solar Stone's Solaris. And watering our labels roots of love for progressive breaks comes the glitch & groove remix from Russia's Abdomen Burst -- it's no easy task turning downtempo into uptempo, but he pulled it off in style.

Aeron Aether (Gábor Kovács) is a Hungarian composer, producer, engineer, sound designer, audio software developer and “experimentalist” of electronic sound. A prolific artist, Aeron has produced chart-topping tracks in various sub-genres of electronic music, including breakbeat, progressive house, electronica, and chill-out. In addition to studying electrical engineering, Aeron has dedicated much of his life to producing music and exploring all aspects of the electronic audio world. He currently runs his own studio, Aetheron Audio, offering audio engineering, music production, and sound design services. He also develops audio plugins for Karanyi Sounds and works as the chief mastering engineer for Monstercat Silk.
