New York City's house specialists @lphnyc continue their run of releases from promising Swedish upstarts, recruiting Red Bull Music Academy graduate @andrelaos for a brand new EP. Following in the footsteps of HNNY, M.D.C. and Name In Lights, the Gothenburg-based producer whips up three sunny slices of percolating four-to-the-floor fun, with a remix from Session Victim injecting that one bit of memento mori to keep it all grounded in reality.

Ushering in the record's B-side, "Yield" bristles with energy from the outset, as syncopated hi-hats herald the arrival of a dynamic conga rhythm. The track's true, beaming face waits to reveal itself until the chorus, when a jubilant vocal sample finds its place among the disco-fied synth stabs. Recommended sunrise listening.
