In June, Anja Schneider will unveil an expansive rework and remix package on her benchmark-setting imprint, Sous Music, some of her best-loved tracks are there in less familiar forms.

Expect fresh takes from Anja herself on seven of her favorite tracks plus a wealth of heavyweight remixers: Paramida & E-Talking, Radio Slave, Scuba, JakoJako, Julian Muller, Cassy, Deetron, Leafar Legov, Erobique, Jaymie Silk and Ackermann all being part of the impressive collection

“The project includes new versions of my favourite tracks from the last 20 years and remixers who have accompanied, influenced, and currently impress me. Each artist holds a special connection for me,” says Anja in anticipation of this milestone release.

HIKE: Cristal clear lakes, impressive mountains, soothing forests and Berlin Techno music.

In 2016, Lindwood's and Aerz's paths crossed and they soon hooked up for some studio sessions.
Turns out their interests pair up well both musically and personally - within a matter of days the idea came up to create a platform that somehow combines all of their favorite passions. Hike was born.

As the name suggests, both label founders embrace extensive inspiring nature hikes to recharge their creativity. In order to combine both worlds they not only strive for high-end productions, but also to share their close affinity to nature.
Thus each release offers an elaborate description of the hiking area that directly influenced its compositions, while the cover design features a local mineral.

Hike embodies contemporary Techno music that goes beyond tradition, by dipping into new-school spaces, while staying true to the "roots" - both acoustically and geologically.

Mathias is the middle child of a thoroughly gifted Techno family. Having soaked up the spirit of Electronic Music early on, he turned out a natural born autodidact, acquiring every aspect of end-to-end productions from scratch. Putting all is heart into his House duo for many years, it took him until 2016 to finally launch is first legit solo project: "AERZ". Its vision being to share his very personal conception of Electronic Music - always on the hunt for new sounds, while staying true to his roots. To go all the way, Mathias knew he'd have to expand the project beyond its natural confines, so him and his buddy Stefan set out to establish a suitable platform, and thus Hike Recordings was born.
