Aetev is the musical project of Austin Texas based songwriter, producer and engineer Slade McBride. His exposure at an early age to a variety of music such as new wave, hop hip, indie and electronic music culminated into a passion to produce. Those early influences were crafted into a mature personal style of exploring lo-fi beats, swirling soundscapes and textured rhythms all dripping with layers of acute sound design and pop melody. 

His debut single “Viscosity” is out now on all streaming platforms. The track is brimming with moody dreaminess grounded by a ferocious backbeat. He enlisted the talents of Michelle Soto, guitarist and secondary vocalist of the indie band Blushing for lyrics and vocals. The result is a mix of synth laden dream pop backed with a gritty, energetic beat.
