Fasting Culture is Barkosina Hanusova's debut book publication with a music tape, drenched in multidisciplinary art forms her magnum opus entitled “Fasting Culture” has no shortage of performance art elements. 
Barkosina draws resemblance of human nutritive starvation with cultural starvation, urging us to reevaluate what cultural existence means to us. 
Throughout the creation of this Opus, Barkosina has fasted and created a daily audio piece with spontaneity and immediacy, capturing raw material that reflects on the current emotion in time and space.

Barkosina is a London based performance and sound artist from the Czech Republic. She holds a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts (Goldsmiths University of London). She has trained in Theatre de l’Ange Fou’s corporeal mime- physical theatre practice and International school of language and drama. She is an autodidact with a strong engagement in music, and literature.
Working across diverse artistic practices and languages within Contemporary Art, such as Performance Art, Theatre Arts, Poetry, and Music, her work explores the dialogue between everyday life and performance. Transcending the power of storytelling by embodying words and turning them into potent imagery, actions, objects, and sounds. She aims to draw out the entertaining and tragic elements of the human experience.
Barkosina is also one half of Years of Denial with whom she has released music on various labels including Death & Leisure, Veyl Records, Modular Mind, Pinkman and Khemia.

Our behavior is shaped at its core by two main drives - to escape pain and to seek pleasure.


Every recollection in memory contains them,
and intentionally or unconsciously our decisions are dictated by them, conditioned by whether we expect more pain or pleasure,
at the end of any particular action.


The range between the pain and pleasure maxima experienced plays a huge role in how we are made up of beings and what we have painful or pleasurable associations with plays an important role
in shaping any aspect of our individuality.

Although we avoid pain,
if it is the price paid for pleasure and does not exceed the desired result in its strength, we are ready to go through this pain
and sometimes even love it as a presage of pleasure...

Flaminia's first solo release on 47 features four mesmerizing techno rollers.

London-based artist Flaminia makes her solo 47 debut with four sophisticated techno tracks that perfectly balance brooding intensity with dreamlike atmospherics. A producer with EPs on Samurai Music, VSK Series and her own label, Metempsychosis Records, Flaminia builds on her canon of previous work with 47033, adding to the label roster's growing arsenal of expertly honed dance floor releases.

On the A-side, two four-to-the floor heavyweights—"Pure" and "Burn Loudly"—offset bone-shaking kicks with plangent melodies that make these tracks uplifting despite their ferocity. The B-side takes a darker turn; "Back To Zero" is an icy broken beat that shines in its stuttering rhythmic complexity, while the closer, "Dissolved," is just as foreboding: synths scrape and shatter like shards of glass against a spare and crunchy kick while Flaminia's voice reverberates in the background. The entire package will be available for purchase on December 9th, 2022.
