As many of you know, Hans Zimmer has been my inspiration for centuries. He has created countless, unforgettable scores for some of the greatest soundtracks.
One of the most emotional pieces for me is “A Beautiful Lie”. Even after all these years, it still gives me goosebumps and sometimes even brings tears to my eyes.
Normally, I set myself the rule to avoid covering film scores and instead focus only on creating my own tracks and developing my own style. But in this case, I made an exception.

This song was originally supposed to have an Electric Finger Bass for the bass (according to the MIDI file). However, it was removed for reasons unknown to the public (I suspect it was because of the Pokémon games on the Gameboy Advance had a DirectSound limit of 5 DirectSounds at a time, and the Electric Finger Bass would break that limit, due to it being a DirectSound instrument).

However, thanks to hacking, I was able to restore the Electric Finger Bass in this track, without any DirectSound conflictions at all. This is what the Trainer Battle from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen would've sounded like, if this instrument was kept in.
