My next guest on Yax Invites is Alan Comber aka Gram Negative, a 30+ year veteran of the craft based in Doncaster, UK. 

He began DJing in 1990 playing early house, detroit and UK techno and soon progressed to the techno and hardcore scenes of the early to mid 90s.

After various flirtations with drum & bass and tribal/tech house around the millenium, he went into working hiatus in 2007. Eventually returned to his first love of techno during lockdown in 2020, he is currently operating as the presenter and showrunner of Germ Theory (formerly Global Detroit) on Sine FM 102.6, a weekly radio show bringing the best in new and forthcoming sc-fi and hypnotic techno with top quality guest DJs from around the world every other week. 

Starting in sci-fi terriritory, this mix builds into a relentless 2hrs of of pounding hypnotic grooves, curated from gems that made the show's recent playlists with some forthcoming bangers and personal faves thrown in for good measure.

What about Prägnanz?

Prägnanz is a Hungarian DJ and producer who is one of the founder of the Synapse crew. His selections within techno has a broad range, likes to play deeper tones and groovier stuff as well. 
He played at several Budapest-based clubs; among those, his favourite place is Aether, where he  currently serves as the residence of the Synapse series. He (and the whole Synapse group) aims to try 
to invite artists on a wide scale in terms of soundscape, believing, that these kind of artists can have a strong educational impact in the hungarian techno scene.  He had the chance to share the stage with such well-reputated artists like Gaetano Parisio, 
Divide, D-Leria, ASEC and Casual Threatment 

Recently, he started to create music as well, constantly trying to find his own sound.

Spring Rolls is a modular synth lover. He explores deep, textures and fm sounds with his eurorack system since the end of 2018. 
He released his music on such labels as BAHN Records or Modern Minimal. 
His first LP "Evasions Sonores" is a compilation of twelve tracks. He composed it in order to listen to all tracks as a real trip, diving into his universe. 
Expect some textures, atmospheric landscapes, drone tensions, fm noisy sequences, hypnotic grooves drived by straight and modulated drums.

BIO:
Leader of the Biotechnology music platform and event series, promoting what is cosmic, psychedelic, organic and hypnotic in techno. Co-founder of the Densiflora platform, promoting house, techno and breakbeat with a deep or progressive character. 

His selection is best defined by the projects he is behind. In terms of techno-oriented version, he seeks to bridge the gap between a hipnotic, minimalist sound, motoric grooves and broken or tribal beats. In the more house-oriented version, he seeks a balance between deep depth and ecstatic atmospheres. 
Tranceiness is the common denominator of both musical versions, which allows them to be combined as required. He has performed at signature events such as Up to date festival, the Institute, Las Festival and Crescent London. He has shared the stage with artists such as DJ Nobu, Steffi, Edit Select, Valentino Mora, Alfred Czital, Shlomo, Justine Perry and Setaoc Mass.

Lost In Ether | Origin Series | Axis Operandi

Doctor Chaff, el talentoso DJ oriundo de Vilalba, España, ha experimentado un ascenso meteórico en su carrera musical. Su viaje comenzó en los años 2018 y 2019, cuando se sumergió en la escena musical, tomando inspiración del "Chapter 1" de Oxygeno, un respetado DJ de su ciudad natal. Desde entonces, su evolución musical ha sido notable. 

 Iniciando su trayectoria, Doctor Chaff se aventuró en los géneros del minimal y el house, explorando los sutiles matices y ritmos que caracterizan estas corrientes. Sin embargo, su búsqueda constante de nuevos horizontes musicales lo llevó a experimentar con el hardtek, donde canalizó su energía en ritmos acelerados y enérgicos. 

 El punto de inflexión en su carrera se produjo cuando se sumergió en el raw, hypnotic y dark techno, géneros que resonaron profundamente en su sensibilidad musical. Este cambio lo llevó a continuar con su búsqueda de sonidos intensos y atmosféricos que brindaran una experiencia auditiva única a su audiencia.

 En 2022, Doctor Chaff tuvo la oportunidad de pinchar en el Black Club, un influyente club en Santiago de Compostela. Estas actuaciones marcaron sus primeros gigs y le permitieron mostrar su talento ante una audiencia apasionada. Además, también fui invitado a pinchar en la Sala Pantalan para Go! events, consolidando su presencia en la escena local. 

 Uno de los momentos más notables de su carrera fue compartir cabina con Insolate, DJ de renombre internacional. Esta experiencia no solo validó su talento, sino que también le brindó una valiosa oportunidad de aprendizaje y crecimiento en la industria de la música electrónica. Actualmente, Doctor Chaff reside en la efervescente Ámsterdam, un epicentro mundial de la música electrónica.

 Su dedicación constante a explorar los rincones más profundos del techno y su éxito en la escena local y más allá lo posicionan como un DJ en ascenso, prometiendo ofrecer experiencias sonoras memorables a su audiencia en todo el mundo. Su evolución musical y su pasión por la música electrónica lo convierten en una figura emocionante y prometedora en la escena actual.
