An affection to vinyl at an early stage is most probably the best precondition to become somebody finally ending up playing those vinyls for people. Somebody with a musical background. Somebody picking the right record at the right time. Somebody serving and educating people at the same time. Somebody being called a DJ.
This fascination for records, starting in the mid 80ies as a collector, and later on in the early 90ies as a DJ still is the a factor for Alex, though his setup on gigs has evolved to a rather complex, digital one. Though, the music is the only thing that counts. This is what Alex approves throughout his constant touring and gigs around the globe.

Luca Redivo, in art R/D/V, is an Amsterdam-based audio engineer and Techno DJ/Producer who discovered his passion for music at an early age.  Starting from his position of vinyl lover and careful researcher of sophisticated music, he soon came into contact with the European club culture. His DJ sets and productions are focused on a refined sound that varies between the most obscure Berlin Techno shades; they are characterised by organic drums and analogue synths.

@lucaredivo has recently released on [R]3volution, Secret Keywords, Devotion, West Rules, Immaterial Archives and Eclectic Limited. He has lately performed for Techno Cartel, Polish Techno.logy, Tech Clubbers, Oscur Minneapolis, Atomar Audio and Lounge Squatt. 
Whilst collaborating and contributing to conceptual initiatives such as ArknA, Luca currently engineers at his studio and venue 8sixA.

Episode 27 | Anti . Matter | Protuberance

Ivelin Iliev from Bulgaria is the face behind the @protuberance project, who for over 20 years has been listening and selecting electronic music. In 2010 he buys the appropriate equipment and opens his own studio. 

He starts producing and publishing his music in different netlabels both in Bulgaria and abroad. He works with the oldest netlabel in Bulgaria – MAHORKA – and produces 4 independent albums, one of which has been released on disc. He is one of the founders of compilation series called Eastern Depths. 
In its four editions the compilation explores the experimental underground scene in Bulgaria, and compiles the music of many different independent producers in the country. 

As a producer he likes to experiment, and sets no limits to his music. In it you can find Deep techno, Dub techno, Drum and basis, IDM, and deep Dub Ambient. In 2019 he releases his own internet podcast series called Cryptic Vibes. He uses it to express his DJ side, and mixes his own music selections. The music itself in Cryptic Vibes is very diverse and follows the intertwining of the dub sound within the different dance genres like techno, tech house, and minimal. His sets have been part of rubrics like Deep electronic podcast, Melotonin podcast, Poisonoise music.
