For the sixteenth output, Marguerite Records is glad to present a new compilation. The A side marks the eclectic label shadow: ‘Condizione Umana’ by @italian-massacres, the duo composed by Violet Poison and Davide Pestillo, opens the release with an enigmatic VHS-tinged composition, sci-fi b-movie soundtracks inspired. A2 ’Zezuru’, a giant cinematic drone wrapped in distorted percussion by LIES affiliated German Army followed up by ‘Drone Thugs & Harmonies’, a slow tempo psychedelic-dub from Dutch’s Galactic Funk owner @bertram-croes. Closing up the first side is ‘Solar’, an authentic electro full speed track by the Croatian musician and sound engineer @zarkoff. ‘Lies in Disguise’ has an obscure synth bass sequence and textured vocals by KRI affiliated the duo Black Dot and opens up the second side, followed up by ‘Cage’, produced by the Italian New-Beat master @unconscious. After that, Florence's Synth-Punk band @zonautopicagarantita maintains the old-school vein with ‘Lifetime Shock’. The release is closed by the firework-ish beats of ‘Tory Gloryhole’ by @autumns.

PREMIERE: Black Dot - Lies In Disguise [Marguerite Records]

Today on Meta Moto Premieres we are excited to introduce the fifth solo album on our platform by Lithuanian producer Shaknis, titled Neturi Vietos. Shaknis is a highly talented producer, mixing and mastering nerd, analog gear collector, Eurorack synth builder, and all-around genuine lad. His new album showcases a blend of pure electro with elements of breakbeat. Be sure to grab a cassette, and inside the J-card, you’ll find a picture of the synths he used to create this album. The release date is set for September 20th, available on both tape and digital formats.

A statement? Or self-reflection? Energetic moments of introspection, reflecting inability to fit in to a predefined reality. Shaknis (:/root) comes from a realm where genres blur and expectations dissolve, refusing to conform to any single style or category. A DJ originally from Zaporizhzhia, whose musical career began on the Kyiv scene. Co-organizer of the Hybrid Moment party series, which explores the dark side of electronic music, and curator of the Inner Voyage show on 20ft, aimed at creating a platform for artists and DJs to experiment with various downtempo genres.

Inspired by post-punk, trip-hop, and ambient music, with a background as a nu-disco and synth-pop artist, Béllis deeply explores the melodies of dark disco and EBM, the dark side of indie dance, complemented by acid and electro motifs.

Her selection is a symbiosis of powerful synth parts, ethnic motifs, and elusive vocal elements. According to the DJ, this combination creates a sense of immersion, making the experience for her and the people on the dance floor more intimate and profound.Valera crafts eccentric dance experiences with a distinct tone. Leaning towards experimentation, his sound is anchored by a pervasive acidic touch, EBM-inspired basslines, and disco-Infused drum sections, all enveloped in a dramatic but yet confident ambience.
