My brother Johnny and I used to talk for hours about music and trade guitar licks with each other. This tune mimics the back and forth conversation, the different views and inevitable harmony. Happy times.

Walking The Cat

An attempt at playing the lapsteel guitar on a melody I always loved to a Gypsy Jazz guitar backing track. Trying out the Origin Effects Sliderig Compressor...wonderful sustain without completely suffocating the signal...plus Strymon Big Sky and Timeline for ambience and Ernie Ball VP Junior volume pedal for swells.
