Chris Kolbecker dove into the electronic music scene 5 years ago. After attending several outdoor festivals and EDM clubs, he instinctively began to play more and more gigs.

PurpleHaze Entertainment was created in the late 2015 by Chris and a few other like minded individuals who shared the passion and drive to throw quality EDM events ranging from warehouse parties to after hours. After many moons and sleepless weekends, Chris' involvement in the scene had slowed, but his passion for collecting quality EDM, a dedication to improve his skills, and continued honing of his craft has grown immensly over the years.

His sets would best be described as a mixture of Bigroom, Melbourne Bounce, Electro- and Future House.
