It was a hot summer, too hot and noisy at times to record instruments in my little home studio, so I went full electronic for this one, inspired by the sultry nights.

Here's my awesome beaming guitar makin' friend, the spectacular Stephen, aka TexMex Shaman with his super-sonic rendition of my song, Sugar Baby Clown, (from way back when), my 2005 album release, Milky Ocean. 

One fine day, simply out of the blue, Stephen came up with a most brilliant idea for us to cover one favourite song from each-other...and well, I picked his kickin' Newly and then he decided to rock out on my cheeky Sugar Baby Clown. Wow, and what a m-a-j-o-r surprise my song turned out to be & you will surely see.

I have been tasked with choosing a monster and making a song for it. I chose the kraken. the result is both tense and playful, reminiscent of old video game boss battle music (at least that's what I was going for)
