環境音楽 × 陶芸
宮内優里とKenji Kiharaによる背景音楽の研究室「BGM LAB.」が音楽制作を担当。岐阜県多治見市にある共同工房の司ラボにて「monolith&soilmans note」協力の元、陶器製作時に発生する様々な音を録音。土と人、道具から生み出される美しい音たちを中心に、音の加工、楽器の演奏を織り交ぜて約30分の環境音楽を作りました。


【BGM LAB.】
宮内優里とKenji KiharaによるBGM(背景音楽)の研究室。共同での音楽制作、ライブ・BGM演奏を経て2016年に開室。BGM LAB.はBGMのための音楽研究室です。アナログ、デジタルの技術をバランス良く使いながら、現代の生活環境に最も適した“背景としての音楽”を研究しています。普段聴いている大好きな音楽と日常に適したBGMが必ずしも一致しないのではないかと僕らは考えます。私たちは日常をより日常として充実させる手助けが出来る、そんな音楽を目指します。

【monolith&soilmans note】
2017年、岐阜県多治見市にて築炉師の加藤貴也とカネ利陶料の日置哲也の二人で、次世代の焼き物や産業を見据えるべく技術、情報、素材の共有を模索するユニットを立ち上げる。その後、兼ねてから信頼し親交のあった野村佳代、田中太郎を加え、陶芸に軸足を置きながらも実験的素材研究バンドとして、「monolith&soilmans note」を結成。現在は、加藤貴也が2016年に立ち上げた「司ラボ」という若手陶芸作家向けのオープン貸し工房を拠点に活動中。

自身もものづくりを行うデザイナーとして、商品企画やコンセプト開発、パッケージ、印刷物、ウェブまで、「ものづくりを支えるデザイン」を行うデザインオフィスです。chisouのロゴ、CDジャケットのデザインや撮影も担当。

多治見市を拠点に、やきものを起点に、東濃地区の未来を創造することを目的とする図濃。活動の一環で開催している「手、東濃、土。」という東濃地区の作家さんに特化したやきものの展示販売会において、音からでもやきものの魅力を感じて欲しいという想いが、今回のプロジェクトの発端です。
