A compilation of vintage sound tape clips from 1983-1986 of Brixton's  Dread Diamonds sound system - taken from various clashes / dances during the sound's heyday....
Dread Diamonds started in the 1970's in Brixton, London & were a conscious/cultural sound system who played out regularly until around 1987 - but occasionally also played out after this time ....
The Dread Diamonds crew had some of London's best Reggae MC's & singers - and the roll call of performers on this audio compilation include : Horseman, Jooxie Nice, Ukey, Butler Rue, Deigo Ranking & Candyman .....
Big Respect goes out to Ruffhouse from South London - who was the first person to release 1980's Dread Diamonds sound tapes on the internet out of his extensive archives & from whom the various audio clips on this compilation were taken & without whom there would be no musical legacy of this wicked sound system online !! ...
Big Respect also goes out to Guvna Gregah for enhancing the audio on this compilation !! ....
