Daniele Baldelli began to propose the two Azymuth’s tracks taken from the album ‘Light As A Feather’ ('Jazz Carnival' and 'Young Embrace') in his DJ sets at Discoteca Cosmic in the same year in which they were released: 1979. And a trace of this has remained in his legendary Cosmic mixed tapes of those years.
Today he remixes and models them as he deems most suited to a Cosmic DJ set.
In addition to the two Remixes released with his right arm Marco Dionigi there is a totally resonated cover version of ‘Jazz Carnival’ and the original 1979 ‘Young Embrace’.

Ma Spaventi is a wonderfully versatile artist. Over his decade-long career, the Italian musician has turned his capable hand to everything from ambient to techno. Once again, he is expanding his sound palette and challenging expectations with Vicino Lontano.

Across eight tracks, an array of ideas and influences are explored with additional guitar work coming care of Odeon’s Michele Righini. The reflective hues of “Solitario” give way to the warming strings and peaceful brightness of “Crepuscolo.” Written and produced in Amsterdam between 2017 and 2019, beautiful memories of the past are the source of inspiration. Radiating Summer sunshine bathes “Bring Me Back” in a comforting glow, while “Velvet Lights” teases rhythm sections with thick bass lines and shimmering synth work. Moments of introspection arrive in the elegant gliding forms of “Bomber” and “Intermezzo.” The rumbling “End Line” finds harmony amongst a spread of styles, cascading chords and rich textures, all combining beautifully. A moon rise closes, the grand curtain falls on “Bidderosa”,  calling time of this stunning collection.

Funkyjaws Music launches a new edits series here with four absolute dons of the form on one vital 12". It's Lay Far that kicks off with 'Never Ever Edit' which is all horn-led excitement and upbeat disco claps and kicks before Admin's 'Moon Trippin' takes a more slow and soulful approach. When it comes to edits few are more essential than Chicago's Rahaan who kicks off the B-side with 'Gonna Get Ya', a leggy funk number infused with cosmic synth rays and warm piano chords. Delfonic shuts down with the loose percussive jumbles and jazzy vibes of 'Let's Dance The Spank'. A fine start to the series with volume two already in the works.

The sound of Four Walls came in our studies an autumn morning. The simplicity disarmed us up to be convinced that something magic walk between the hands, and the head, of Russian producers. The four tracks retain a sinuous and classical line, the groove is bottled in the sessions of chord, sounds and drums. As if nothing had happened we are left at the end of the EP, never losing the fine taste, unique, like a vintage wine. A good example of deep house, intimate expression of this emerging artist, who knows what to say and how to say it!

Invisible Starlight is a ripping tune by an unknown midwestern funk outfit with a driving backbeat and soaring horns. It sounds like Ohio to us, but we can't be certain. 
However, we are sure that this band must have rocked local bowling alleys and lounges wherever they went. Universal Cave is proud to present our edit to our fellow 45 loving movers and groovers.
On the flip, The Beat Broker rounds out the original with his signature style and an impeccable ear. The Kind Dub's sun drenched delay and reinforced drums ensure that Invisible Starlight will shine on any dancefloor.
