Sabine was born and raised in Berlin. She grew up listening to a diverse array of hip hop, soul, funk and crossover beats. Sabine discovered her passion for spinning vinyl around the early 2000’s, when she was first exposed to electronic music. 

She plays a deep blend of techno, electro, Chicago & Detroit house with nuggets of acid, funk and breakbeats rolled in.  Besides club music, she is also available for Ambient sets. But regardless of the style, you will always find Sabine playing vinyl only sets  as she prefers the warmth of analog sounds and the classic feel of turntables. 

She has played at almost all the leading clubs in Berlin such as About Blank, Tresor, Heideglühen, Salon zur wilden Renate, Berghain Kantine, Suicide, Griessmühle, IPSE, Farbfernseher,  Golden Gate, Arena Club and the list goes on. Her international profile has been steadily increasing, she already played in Tiflis, Paris, Baku, Yerevan, Krakow and Thessaloniki to name a few.

Since 2016 Sabine works at the well known OYE record shop in Berlin. She is taking care of all OYE club events and also all Instores happening at one of the record shops. Since January 2023 she is hosting the OYE Podcast series.

Sabine is the founder of “Frauengedeck”. It´s an event series focusing on an all female line up. She wants to support and present female DJs. She has held many events at different clubs throughout Berlin like Wilde Renate, Griessmühle, Farbfernseher and Beate Uwe. The first international events outside of Germany, were held in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

She finished her Audio Engineering studies at SAE. Inspired by her gained knowledge, she started putting her focus on music production. The first result, a collaboration with No Mad Ronin is available on the label Zaijenroots.

A high-spirited artist and relentless producer, Mathys reinvents the syncopation through a mental and rude 4-decks techno, embodying the intense, concentrated and visceral, inviting for emancipation. 

From his multiple EP's released on MORD, Orbe, HAYES and Mutual Rytm recently, his music is fiery and frenetic. This spatial dimension is essential to him as a musician, where tension and reflection are combined in the space he endlessly recreates through his sets. 

Mathys Lenne is the one who sets the pace, pushing the melody to its rawest limits and establishing order with finesse.

Laut & Luise is a Music Lovers Club from Berlin && Cologne

Laut & Luise releases carefully selected music on vinyl, individually touched and underlined by a special and characteristic artwork in order to give back at least some love.

Luise herself provides dance music, calm and dubby, still with a definite focus on house and techno.

Aside from the main label, our younger imprint Luettje Luise is meant to be a playground for sounds beyond genres and borders, trying to stay open-minded like daddy Ernst Jandl was.

What is the opposite of little? Lost. A new little sub by Laut & Luise, limited to nothing but a digital playback device and labeled with a mouse crafted artwork. Lost in Luise, for the digital natives and the internet explorers.
