A "Sangoma" is a traditional Zulu herbsman and spiritual leader, like a Dibia in Igbo culture. "Sangoma" also translates to "person of the drum". This beat tape is a dedication to everyone who loves both Hip-Hop and authentic African music. Being a first generation Nigerian-American, I've been fortunate enough to enjoy the best of both worlds.
