Mr.Sakitumi is an innovative, multi-instrumental musical phenomenon the likes of which are few and far between in the world of electronic music. From the studio to the stage, he's mastered his vast array of physical and virtual tools to produce his first solo album 'Secret Asian Man'. This debut album comes after being a member of influential South African acts Max Normal, Lark and Closet Snare, and regularly performing with the likes of Teba, EJ von Lyrik, Goldfish, Freshly Ground, Gazelle and many more. "These are some songs I made in my bedroom. I hope you like them", so begins the irresistable groove which is the man's live, solo stage performance. He gets to triggering live fx devices, playing the double bass, drums, guitar and whatever else may so happen to be on stage at the time in the spirit of his second nature. From  4ormul◭fourfours forth coming EP comes a  surreal journey into the hearing and loving of life whilst dreaming as a child. Made whilst two of my good friends bought theyre young daughter 'Havana' into this World. 

A love of Junglist vibes and ambient music fused here to create a delightful yet vibrant collage of energy. I truelly hope you enjoy and also that this tune helps bridge and connect the gap between Ambient music and Jungle. Love and serenity.

Their break came after they created the music for (ironically enough) a tobacco company's cinema advertisement which brought in the cash to set up the label and release their first CD, Acid (tm) Made Me Do It, in April 2000 to much acclaim, while their "African Dope Vol 1" compilation won the 2002 "Best Dance Album" SAMA award.
Never fixed on one style or genre, the label is dedicated to showcasing the finest local leftfield dub, hip-hop, dancehall, breakbeat, and drum 'n bass emerging from the streets of South Africa. Distribution in South Africa is by Soul Candi Distribution (as of July 2007, previously by Sony), in Europe by Lowlands distribution (Benelux), Al!ve AG (Germany), and CD1D.com (France), and they have comprehensive digital distribution via INgrooves (USA), Artspages (Scandinavia / China), Blue Pie Productions (Australia) and Vidzone.tv (UK).
The pre-2009 logo was designed by Watkin Tudor Jones after an amicable settlement with lawyers representing the Cape Outspan company whose own logo the previous one was just a little too similar to.
