Free Like A Bird (demo)

When we were kids, we lived in Germany for three years because my dad was in the Air Force. While we were there, my younger sister, Grace, was about five, and she would ride her tricycle up and down the street, singing "You Are My Sunshine." 

I often think about that and how perfectly that song fits her--she is just like sunshine. She is one of the most uniquely beautiful and creative people I know, not to mention compassionate. 

This fall, she's transferring to California to finish school, and I thought this was the perfect time to write and share her song. Everyone in my family gets a song, but this happens to be the first one released. It came out on her 21st birthday--May 5 and I hope you enjoy it and get to get a little glimpse of how wonderful she is.
