Originally recorded for the EMI Nigeria label and produced by legendary producer Odion Iruoje - Keyboard were a one-off studio project formed by Brodricks Majuwa and Isaac Digha from circa 1978. These two session men were often used at the EMI studio and played in multiple recordings that Iruoje produced throughout the era 

'Peaceable World' is taken from their extremely scarce and obscure record - 'Hungry Man' - which features amongst others Ignace de Souza of the Black Santiagos from the city of Cotonou, Benin and Jonni Wood from the band SJOB movement.

His debut release for Wah Wah 45s, Sanctuary is announces the back to basics, no nonsense approach Dele is taking for his third album.

Recorded at Fishmarket Studios in Willesden with analogue expert Nostalgia 77 these recordings were done the "Fela way" by Dele's own direction and truly catch the power of the Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra.

The full eight minute version of Dele's prayer to the recharging powers of afrobeat music will be available on the album released next May. But for now enjoy the dancefloor driving 7" edits, coming to vinyl this September.

After two years of playing in multiple venues in Paris and across France, Mawimbi is now a label. MWB001 is a 4-tracker 12 inch record focusing on various expressions of the afro-centric musical influence in modern club music. The record will be followed shortly by a digital release, containing 5 additional tracks by like-minded producers.

"More Sekele Movement" (A1) is a much sought after Cameroonese afro-disco stomper, here remixed by Vulkandance residents Africaine 808. "Sogoni Kalimba" (A2) is a deep journey into the healing tones of the kalimba by 10 Foot Ballerina, an Atlanta-via-Detroit-via-Berlin native now renewing the links with his ancestry studying music in Windhoek, Namibia.

"Ketjak" (B1) by Parisian producer Loâzo may very well be the most out there track, starting with a rather goofy asbtract hip-hop beat before pushing things up to 110bpm and building up a climax with its shouting vocals and distorted, techno drum patterns. "Afrikaan Beat 2.0" (B2) is by no means your generic afro-house track, drawing instead in the best UK bass has to offer while taking it to the next level with typical afrobeat drum patterns and ghetto house chopped-up vocals.

About 6 months ago, just before I set off on my 5 month tour of Europe I got a message from a good friend of mine asking me if I would edit a track that he loves.

'Why Can't We Live Together' by Timmy Thomas is an amazing song with a strong message that is even more relevant today than it was back in 1972.
