Local Suicide are back with the second of four remix EPs for their debut album, 'Eros Anikate', each named after an ancient Greek god. The Greco-German DJ and Producer couple, known for their wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno, EBM, and dark disco, have been driving live audiences into a frenzy across the globe with captivating performances and live sets. Their propulsive grooves have earned them the title of key figures in the up-rising dark disco scene, as well as overwhelming support from the music press worldwide for their 13 EP releases to date. Their debut LP, 'Eros Anikate', is the next step on their journey to a worldwide cobra wave and techno-disco takeover and includes selected vocal features and collaborations from Lena Platonos, Curses, Theus Mago, Kalipo, Sissi Rada and more. 'Eros Anikate - Artemis Remixes' is a 6-track EP featuring remixes for ‚Moustache' w/ Skelesys by You Man, 'Jam Bounce Release‘ w/ Theus Mago by Silicon Soul, 'Like Follow Subscribe‘ feat. We are premiering the final remix for the EP that comes from Boys' Shorts for 'Eros Anikate' feat. Greek new wave legend Lena Platonos. The Greek DJ and producer duo had been friends for over a decade and spent endless hours on the decks together DJing around Greece and Europe before deciding to form their project and share their love for electronic music. Their music is a blend of everything they mix in their DJ sets, from disco to breaks, slow techno to acid, with the sole aim of making people dance. Having previously released their hit ‘New Era’ EP via the Iptamenos Discos imprint, the duo return for their remix of 'Eros Anikate feat. Lena Platonos', speeding up the track and adding driving synth sequences and groovy rhythms for a fun and vibrant remix.

Originally from Berlins suburbs, Micropacer was introduced to house music first time at the age of ten when he was given a mixtape by his best friend’s older brother. Back then he did not know what this kind of music was, but it changed his life completely. 

Living close to Berlin as a teenager, when Clubs like Tresor, WMF, Ostgut, Polar TV and Parties like „No Ufos“ by Woody and DJ Hell ermerged, Micropacer got sucked into the music scene entirely.

The fact that he was hardly equipped with any proper musical background or training, besides some unsuccessful attempts playing the guitar, did not hold him back from taking music production more seriously. In the beginning of 2019, his first tracks have been released, just recently on Alex Niggemann’s AEON Audio label with a remix of Darlyn Vlys as well as on Kendal's Ritmo Fatale and not to forget his 12inch "Zeitgeit" on Ney York based label Melodice incl. Remixes by Marvin & Guy and Vhyce! 

His productions vary from Indie Dance, EMB, Disco to Italo and House - basically chord and arpeggio driven and uplifting synthesizer sounds.

With more releases to come, Micropacer is constantly growing as a producer and DJ. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Berlin producer and Dada fan ACUD releases its first album "Verdammt Nochmal"! The Berlin musician, visual artist and label owner Lasse Winkler aka ACUD has attracted attention with titles such as MATJESFILET or VERBRENNUNGSMOTOR. He shows that electronic dance music can also have a sense of humor without ending in slapstick. Stylistically, he occasionally touches on genres such as indie dance, electro and acid house. Creaking basses and swinging rhythms meet warm synth chords and complement his bright voice. The microphone, always ready, replaces the notepad. Succinct, spontaneous keywords and sentences are created, snapping up everyday life.

On the 10-track album VERDAMMT NOCHMAL, the musicians are accompanied over a creative period of three years. ORTHOPÄDE is the name of the first track, a gaga break-pop number that doesn't take itself too seriously. This is followed by UNTER BÄUMEN, a melancholic late summer ballad with a stomping beat, which makes it clear what kind of atmosphere we are dealing with here. In SUPERMARKT his need for lemons and quark increases - always a guarantee for the good day he sings about. The fact that this cracker plays into your stomach and legs is due to the clear optimism of his voice, in addition to the warm creaking beats that would drag anyone out of bed. In the music video produced by the artist himself, which also stars actress Deborah Kaufmann (Dark) and is directed by artist Greta Ipfelkofer, the artist also expresses himself visually. So he builds up a complete paper backdrop in which life-size Mickey Mouse without ears are chasing people who are more and more greedy for money and are looking for a way out of their self-inflicted mess.

ACUD's productions always contain a portion of punk. Having grown up with illegal raves, the then 20-year-old got to know the pulse of Berlin's techno scene. Later working as a booker and club operator, in 2012 he founded the music label "KELLER" with fellow DJs, which specializes in promoting talented producers. Since then he has been producing and releasing electronic dance music.

The song SCHNABELGAUL comes along as a system criticism in Dada garb. For the drum recordings, the artist even temporarily moved to the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin. In VERDAMMT, producer and "Frittenbude" musician Jakob Häglsperger aka "Kalipo" grabs the bass lines, staccato rhythms meet vibrating sounds that come close to the call of seductive sirens. The lyrics: an indictment devoted to the greatest emotion in the world. The singing spirals up dramatically and finally spits the dancers back into the wave with tasty treats.

VERDAMMT NOCHMAL will be released on vinyl and digitally on KELLER on March 03, 2023.

What started as an small idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany. Our goal was and still is to enrich the world with different interpretations of the afterhour. 

In the beginning, we focused our passion on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions.
