The stirring 'Beyond The Horizon' features German-born Mario Navajo, who was last on this label in the summer with a fine solo EP that showcased a distinctive musical style and his heartfelt vocal performances. The Extended Version is a dramatic sound full of cinematic tension with eerie, wiry synths wrapping themselves around an anxious groove. The melodies are unsettling as the deft percussion, and FX dance around the mix.
