Thom Nagy, journalist and passionate musician, makes the EP "You Don't Know", which we release digitally as well as vinyl, to something very special. Two of the four tracks included on the EP, called "Bloom" and "You Don't Know", are due to him. The disc is refined with two remixes by Dandara and Arutani, who met each other through the Basel-based label LOKD. They created a wonderful remix of the track "You Don't Know". Last but not least, we can look forward to a remix of Nagy's track "Bloom" by Madmotormiquel and Fulltone.

Afterhour Sounds is since his begining in 2012 a crew of music lovers, music makers and music supporters. What started as an small idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany. Our goal was and still is to enrich the world with different interpretations of the afterhour. 

In the beginning, we focused our passion on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres. In-house releases and events were not long in coming. The crew changed, but the passion and spirit remained.

I've played hundreds of tracks from hundreds of artists and enjoyed watching many of their careers grow along the way. 

I discover music in lots of places: SoundCloud, remix sites, netlabels, other DJs. I also work with some indie labels. If your track gets in a podcast episode, I'll also publish the track information (title, artist, album, label) in my blog. If your music is for sale, I'll show where to buy it.

The main criteria is that the music moves me ... and that you want to share your track through a medium like a podcast.
