Born in Iran and a citizen of Denmark since the early ’80s, @nimagorji is now based in Ibiza from where he continues to influence the international electronic music scene with his distinct style and vision. His career spans more than 28 years, having a beautiful beginning in Copenhagen’s club scene around the time when the modern house and techno music were taking shape, capturing people’s attention more and more. In 1995 he began a residency at the Rust Club, now remembered as one of the most known underground clubs in Copenhagen, where he played alongside numerous DJs, slowly building on his name. His relocation to Spain brought him extended collaborations with Ibiza Underground, Monza and Next Wave while in 2010 he was awarded “Best Ibiza DJ”.
In 1999 Nima Gorji founded Welt Recordings alongside partner Thomas @madvig, followed by @ng-trax and Need For Sound alongside @octavee, relentlessly following his passion for electronic music by releasing numerous personal works as well as promoting other artists. His rich discography also includes materials published through labels like @scitec, @deeperfect-records, @fuselondon, @bondage-music, @out-of-orbit-space, Love Letters From Oslo, @indigorawrecordings, @cocoonrecordings, Murmur, Natural Rhythm, @blabla-music, @eterecords, @bprecs and @melodeum_records, while others have been dispatched through Bandcamp.

Some creatives need multiple outlets for their thoughts and passions and Hilu is one such artist. Whether it’s her own parties under the Halo banner, her collaborative work as A:typical or solo as resident at one of Tel Aviv’s best known venues The Block, Hilu is a name to remember.

Her hypnotic grooves, sun kissed by the Tel Aviv rays beam down on her loyal supporters whenever she gets behind the decks. Her minimal leaning style is always flecked with funky basslines, mind blowing retro synths and deft skills on the mixer to blend it all together. Biography
Born in a "underground" hood in Bucharest and growing up being influenced by the early romanian hip-hop culture, you can feel the oldschool vibe pulsing through his sound. Already a well known figure on the Romanian scene, he played alongside names such as Public Lover,Cezar, Dan Andrei, Bill Patrick ... in clubs like Kristal Glam Club,Studio Martin,Space Club and Zebra. In addition to appearing constantly on the local scene, his hard work and dedication also drove him outside Romania's borders. Currently focusing most of his attention on creating beats and rhythms.

After three, what will be considered, legendary years at Café Fluss in the old pard yard of Gothenburg, the guys have now being forced to close down by the city. On their last weekend open I was invited to play and decided to make something special for the books. I decided to put together a short dj/hybrid set for the early hours in order to go out with style. This is the recording. Rest in power, Café Fluss!

We are happy to present Groove & Flavor Premium Podcast #003, this time our Frenchie friend, Janeret.

Mickael Jeanneret is one of a handful of talented rising French
DJ-producers signed to Yoyaku, the Paris-based record label, record
store, and booking agency. As Janeret, he performs regularly through
Europe, but has also toured through Japan, Australia, and the
Americas, acknowledged for his energetic sets that incorporate
minimal house and breaks. He’s also widely known for his production
work: a steady stream of exceptional EPs have established him as
“pretty much a purchase-on-sight artist, which is a rarity,” writes
one Discogs user.

Janeret grew up in Grenoble, a city in south-eastern France, but has
called Paris home since 2010. It was around this time that he began
“taking production seriously,” he explains; his earliest experiments
had started several years earlier. He marked his relocation to the
French capital with a slew of releases on various imprints, but it
wasn’t until 2015’s Heat EP that Janeret began to feel comfortable
with his production methods and style, a smooth take on deep house
with a solid groove.

The reception of these early works saw Janeret sign to Yoyaku, now a
flag-bearer of the French minimal music scene. Under the supervision
of Varhat and Benjamin Belaga, the two co-founders, Yoyaku has
launched a number of sub-labels through which Janeret and his peers
have released, including YYK no label and Aku.

Elsewhere, Janeret also heads up Joule Imprint through which he has
released music from Teluric and Roger Gerressen, among others.
Janeret launched the label with his 2016 Bright EP which featured a
Varhat remix.
