Aptly named after a fast and vicious fictional creature created by Lewis Carrol, ‘Bandersnatch” is a steadily growing beast that builds to a ferocious tune. The tech-infused progressive track showcases Jeremy Olander’s impressive production skills, with a groove that seeps into the feet instead of smacking the listener over the head.  ‘Bandersnatch’ builds upon Olander’s already impressive catalogue, including his recent collaboration with Fehrplay, ‘Balboa,’ his poignant ‘Petroleum’ with Swedish legendary band Kent and his Beatport Top 10 smash hit ‘Let Me Feel.’

Underspreche first caught our attention back in 2016 with the release of their mini album "Invito Alla Danza" on Optimo Trax, a record that possesses the captivating mixture of ethno vocals & sounds with a raw house dynamic. From there they continued to impress with their unique twist on many prominent House and Techno jams through their Experiments series. We are thrilled to have worked with them to bring you this EP and who better to describe the record than Underspreche themselves...

"We think every kind of art has an important role in our lives because of the magical power it has inside. Positive art can be profound, produce questions, show us new perspectives, transform feelings and connect people telepathically. If this is not magic??!! Taking inspiration from Alejandro Jodorowsky's work we did our own “music act” with this record, trying to ease our inner sorrow through musical poetry and freeing our voice. Mind Against are back on Afterlife with two emotive, dancefloor masterpieces. ‘Walking Away’, featuring the deeply-affecting vocals of Port St. Willow, centers around uplifting harmonic elements and a resonant drum pattern. It strikes that special balance of light and dark which makes Mind Against’s tracks uniquely cathartic. ‘Bloom’ is more a melancholy, downtempo interpretation of their vision. The percussion is restrained and sits deep below atmospheric pads and piano chords, eventually arriving at a gradual and subtle peak. Mind Against reach euphoric heights once again, though this time by a patient and reflective path.
