Set to build on Afterlife’s mesmerizing club concept that’s striking visual and musical identity has so far showcased at Off Sonar, ADE and Ibiza for a 13-week residency at Space, brand curator’s Tale Of Us have now added an extra dimension to its forward-thinking offering with a podcast series named ‘Afterlife Voyage’. 

Launching with a rare 2 hrs mix from Tale Of Us themselves, Afterlife Voyage 001 provides a unique insight into the duo’s ‘realm of consciousness’ and features a range of unreleased tracks and upcoming Afterlife releases. With names from the Afterlife record label also confirmed to contribute to this latest musical journey – their names yet to be revealed – the launch of the podcast series further emphasizes Tale Of Us’ growing dominance within the global club scene and reiterates Afterlife’s 360 degree exploration of music and the arts. 

Venturing to London this Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November for its UK debut, Afterlife will then head to in Miami for Art Basel on Saturday 3rd December for an engaging takeover that sees Marcel Dettmann and Recondite join proceedings.

The Brazilian in-demand producer Victor Ruiz, teams up with the ever popular German D-Nox, for a multi-continemtal musical treat and an excellent follow up of their immense ‘Arise’. 

Lets great straight to the music without further adieu. 'The title track 'Pure' is a melodic and hypnotic masterpiece, with its subtleties creating a sophisticated warm workout to slay a dance floor. The infectious arpeggiator is the main stay here, underpinning the track, before a beautiful top line adds warmth and a beautiful sunshine feeling. The breakdown lulls you into thinking that this is a restrained affair, before we kick back in to action with a gnarly bass line that will send the crowd wild. A track that smells of a hit!

Picking up the pace here, the energetic 'Infinite' is a wondrous peak time slammer, shrouded in depth, yet with plenty of  brightness, as the warm pads glisten through, like rays of light shining through a gap in the curtains, warming the soundscape. Big bass again provides the punch, while melodies send you dreaming off away, with a hazy glow. Big and bold, and thats why we love it.

Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. In the case of ‘Skywalking’ it reaches an uplifting, euphoric crescendo, in Tale Of Us’ intro edit of ‘Departure’ the theme goes darker and off-kilter. ROD is a new artist for Afterlife Recordings and ‘Brighten Up Bunny’ is another high-quality entry in Benny Rodrigues’ acclaimed discography.

The EP’s title track opens the record with bright, uplifting synth notes and a weighty kick drum - Rodrigues’ fresh take on the Afterlife sound. Getting deeper and darker with ‘Welcome Back Mama’, ROD fuses razor-sharp claps and a punchy bassline to dazzling effect. ‘Melodi’ takes an eerie turn, burying the drums under metallic shimmers and disorientating reverberations.
