Very excited to finally have two of our favourites local Melbourne artists join our podcast family, Handsdown and Leigh Boy.

The Victorian pair has a musical journey spanning over the majority of the last decade, throwing parties of all sorts and delivering an uncompromising plethora of emotional, melodic and progressive techno to dance floors right around the country and beyond.

Spearheading the Euphorie Bezirk clan and vivid members of the Recovery Collective family, parents to the notoriously debaucherous Disco 2000 party series and festival favourites - the duo have recently dosed us up at Rainbow Serpent Festival, Strawberry Fields, Elrow,  Babylon Festival, Subsonic, The Petting Zoo, The Pleasure Garden, Paradigm Festival, Esoteric, Carl Cox’s PURE as well as residencies for Tramp Saturdays, Bloom and Alter Tours and Events. 

A big stint in oz has come to an end now the pair has set the pace for another European gallop with Recovery Collective, plus releases on label’s here in oz and abroad.

Odd One Out requires me to sometimes release records that are a bit...odd. So after the 2 first releases I decided it’s time to unleash a hint of Gouda. The track asks ”Is This Trance?” and is fuelled by some gargantuan bouncy saw riffs that I picked up from my 13-year old brain which at the time was listening to Southside Spinners and Gatecrasher compilations. Slightly slower and more mature, like some of my favourite cheeses are, this is quite close to musical Gorgonzola with some hedonistic grapes.
