Reconnect (Fremen Rhyme Weapon Mix) This is an old track from '01, from the Arkitek album Rhyme Weapon.  It's been remixed several times (this is the 4th version) and is often used as a show opener.  Features Agent Psyte and Thirst on vocals, samples from DUNE.

Heretic (Die Devil Mix) - From my '06 solo album Temples War, and originally titled "Is There A God?". This is the 3rd remix for this track, the original being more somber and scaled back in power.  It's about a Doubting Thomas essentially, questioning ones faith, and challenging the authority of the Church's description of service to God.  I am not a Christian, though I am a follower of Jesus' teachings (to my best ability). This song always gave me goosebumps.  It was written to speak to Thirst when he was in search of some Light in his life.

Heretic (Die Devil Mix)

In The Heart (Don't Stop Mix) - from Temples War ('06).  This had been the ONLY track performed live that had never received a remix, until August 2012.  I always loved the ultra simplicity of the original, but to get it to match the current live set, I felt it was time to add a few extras, including one 16th note from the bass drum which set the whole thing into a much more funky life.  Lyrics were intended to state my endurance factor, being that I really care about what I do.

Gimme The Mic (Enigma Mix) - again from Temples War ('06), originally titled "Proven One", then "Prove Your Skill", and finally, "Gimme The Mic".  I sampled Enigma near the middle, the sample they used of Gregorian monks, so I guess I sampled a sample.  End of the world right? This was really to show another rhyme style for myself, different vocal patterning and tone (a voice I repeated for "144,000 Emcees" from same album).  The vibe, IMO, is positive aggression.

Gimme The Mic (Enigma Mix)

Elemental (Tectonic Mix) - from Temples War ('06).  I thought this track would never get remixed but late in May something happened and I decided to take it dark.  It had been a aggressive track in certain ways before, but somehow funky happy.  I decided to make it darker, like the creation of the universe dark, gasses flowing, igniting in pockets with brilliant displays.  Point is - darker, and deeper in the ocean than before.  The flow is about my approach to the Art of Word and how I view myself during a session.  It has plenty of Ego in it, though not so much a song boasting superiority, more of a committed persistence in fighting on for my beliefs.

Elemental (Tectonic Mix)

Codework (Encrypted Mix) - from the '02 album Rhyme Weapon.  This is the 4th version I believe of this, going from a spooky original, to a metal track, to a club dub track, to this mix of many.  It always had some great styles of flowing in it and I often would switch the order of emcees for shits and giggles. Yes, this came out before Jay Z.
