A Lovely Lady

Virginia is a very lovely lady.
She sings beautifully,
She leads others in song gracefully.
She exercises thoroughly.
She guides others gently.
She is on the go constantly.
She plays many games happily.
She always smiles beautifully.
She spreads her love of life joyfully.
If you know Virginia, you lover her truly.

I got the idea for this song from an interview with Jason Isbell. He talked about writing songs about food that can go in many directions.

My Little Circus World (Tribute to Fellini) - Featuring music, that touches

Michael Klatte (music, that touches) and I decided to collaborate on a song. I sent him a draft of this idea. He then worked on it and created this melancholic piece about Fellini's circus movies. I saw La Strada and felt the mood perfectly fit the events in La Strada. I then changed my original piece about to fit his additions and add a little Fellini sound at the beginning and end. My Circus World (Tribute To Fellini featuring music that touches)

My friend Dirk Radloff (Heartscore) has influenced me to write some surf rock songs.  I now have 3.  I have put them into a playlist of my Surf rock songs.  I play my Squier Stratocaster (with Lindy Fralin split blads pickups) for both rhythm and lead guitar on this one,  I also use my old fender Precision Bass.  The other instruments are midis.

Spirit of the Wave

We play Classic Pop Rock from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and more.  We are a Carmel, Indiana based band.

Mark Stevens is the primary organizer for the AGES band.  He lives in Carmel, Indiana in the Summer months and in Florida during the Winter.   Mark plays guitar and sings.  Larry Lux leads the AGES band while Mark is away in Florida.  Larry plays guitar and sings.   

Danny DiSalvo (the newest member of The ADES Band) keeps the AGES band in a groove with his vocals and drumming. Julie Guest provides vocals for the AGES band.  She is the one in the middle who provides the smiles.  Paul Smith rocks out on lead guitar and backup vocals.  Dave Keller provides the sunshine on keyboard and vocals. All AGES Band recordings are live with no overdubs.  There is some processing of mono recordings to give them a Stereo effect.

John Anderson, John Wright, Danny Davis, and Rufus Campbell are former member of the AGES band and they can be heard on some of the recordings.  You may find their pictures on recordings in which they play.  Chris Paduano and Larry O'Cull have helped us out on drums for gigs where our regular drummer could not perform.
