FRiDAY Records is a Sydney based, UK bred label now firmly established in the Sydney Tech House and Techno scene. 

The ethos, to deliver the finest Tech House and Techno grooves we can find, using carefully crafted productions, written by both established and up and coming artists. 

After years of learning their craft and refining their sound, head honcho’s Scruby and Aron Chiarella are now taking the label to new heights with regular features on Beatport’s home page and Native Instruments newsletters.

With huge international artist support over the last couple of years the label has gone from strength to strength and building momentum quickly. Support coming from Paco Osuna, Doorly, Stacy Pullen, Oscar L, Riva Starr, Joseph Capriati, Sonny Wharton, Adrian Hour, Mike Vale and Mr Jefferson to name a few.

FRiDAY Records are recognised for releasing Tech House and Techno tracks that have deep throbbing basslines coupled with grooving percussion arrangements that never let go.

In the Sydney scene FRiDAY Records DJs Scruby & Aron Chiarella have played at major events such as Space and Circo Loco and have also supported artists such as Christoph, David Herrero, Jaceo, Oscar L, Miguel Bastida, My Digital Enemy, Dubspeeka and Ronnie Spiteri.

Thriving on a desire to share nu-disco to the house heroes, progressive to tech, he brings a buzz unique to every set delivered across Australia, Asia Miami, Mykonos and Balearic haven Ibiza.

For ARIA chart DJ Cadell, the inspiration came with the rise of Erick Morillo who took the house music scene over more than a decade ago. Firing off a winning vocal anthem with the deep and sultry shades of a tech-tainted tune, Cadell ignites a club every time he jumps on. Well respected across the Sydney electronic map, he has held the key to shows across the town supporting Laidback Luke, Calvin Harris, Thomas Gold, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo himself. From Marquee to The Argyle, Greenwood and Trademark, its no wonder Sydney music enthusiasts don’t resist a play on the dance floor with Cadell in charge. Yet with a music gold mine up his sleeve, Good Vibrations, Big Day Out and Pacha have too been struck giving this sure fire DJ a deserved welcome.

The last two decades have seen Cadell take the stage at some of the world’s most prestigious events and festivals while some of the largest brands in the world including Coca Cola, Qantas, Virgin, CBA, KPMG, Macquarie Bank have all been seduced by his musical selection and have chosen him to entertain them. Industry professionals enjoy picking at his knowledge embracing him as a leader in itself. From DJ instructor at DMC DJ School to monthly mix resident at Today FM’s The Revolution show, he has his stamp of approval in concrete. Outside of the booth Cadell is the Director of a digital music promotions service Musik Lounge where his collaborative record, label and marketing knowledge span far and wide.
