Hailing from Paris with Bulgarian roots, Karassimeon has
dedicated his artistic journey to the electronic sound of past
decades, mainly the 70s, the 80s and early 90s.
Disco and EBM are his conflicting obsessions : his motto is
“Glitter & Leather”. Above all, his main inspirations are
cinematographic and dystopian, embodied by artists such as
Goblin, John Carpenter and Giorgi Moroder.

His producer career started with the inevitable encounter with
Toulouse based Ritmo Fatale, resulting in the release of a
string of tracks embodying their shared passion for both the
italo-disco legacy and the French touch sound embodied by
Zone, Ed Banger or Institubes records.

Besides this, his love for the sound of the 80s results in an
ever-growing collection of edits, which he shares with his
community, spreading the love for classics such as Blue
Monday by New Order, It's A Sin by the Pet Shop
Boys...among many to come

About the Edit :

Although Karassimeon had always been a fan of Fleetwood
Mac, he hadn’t initially payed attention to this hit written by their
lead singer Stevie Nicks. The infectious throaty vocal line, both
verses and chorus, enriched by powerful choirs, was one of the
most inspiring he had ever heard.
The murder of John Lennon in December 1980 was the trigger
of Stevie’s inspiration, building upon some creative ideas she
was working on.
Both the highly symbolic lyrics, dedicated to grief and sorrow,
and the composition made this song an obvious choice for
Karassimeon’s next edit

Influenced initially by Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Art of Noise, Endrik Schroeder discovered a passion for techno, electro and Italo Disco sounds.  After sereval techno releases for imprints  such as Interface records ( charted by Laurent Garnier  or Dave Clarke to name a few), Endrik returns with more Italo influences and just released a Brillant and strong  EP « Everyday of Your Life » on Zone Records,  the label of The Hacker.

Having a big collection of  music of the 70’s and 80’s Endrik listened one day to « Les Nuits sans Kim Wilde » an French Italo song of 1985 by Laurent Voulzy a famous french songwriter & singer  and thought about actualizing it with a modern touch and some new instruments to include it in his dj sets but keeping the original mood and work it with respect.

Et voilà !  An amazing Edit full of Italo Disco vibes ready to make people dance and travel back to this magical period . Expect the unexpected !
