this is a collection of tracks with sickening grooves, maddening percussion and haunting beauty in their melodies.
they all make me see blue 💙🩵
i’ve wanted to throw em together and try to make sense of them for a while.
it isn’t easy. they’re very busy and hard to mix, the complexity of the syncopated drums and melodies that don’t follow basic phrasing brings up quite the technical challenge. and because of this i don’t get to play them too often at the club.

so this isn’t a perfectly blended, melt-onto-each-other type of mix but a forcing of antagonistic rhythms and grooves meshing together in hopes of creating beauty within the sonic chaos. <3

This one is a very special one, because it is partly the set I played at the TRANSTRONICA festival 2023, although without the sickening vocals of Hausvrau. It is a trip through the 90s, a wild ride through House, Breakbeat and 90s Rave.
