House 08-12-2025

After a first release in spring, Discotte is back with a second pack of edits!

Kicking things off with an edit of Lilith – Nenèm (Tiño Dub Mix). The original has been in rotation for quite a long time in the diggers’ universe, but this version brings some freshness with a Dub Mix that could easily have been the original B-side when it was released back in 1993! Tiño reshapes the track by cutting some parts, extending others, adding some percussion, and “dubifying” the vocals. And just like that, the Dub Mix is born!

Next up is an obscure track by Johnny Clegg & Savuka called Siyayilanda, entirely rearranged and extended by Vitamin J. Originally released in 1988, this version has all the characteristics of a production from that era: a simple but powerful bassline, sharp drums, and hypnotic vocals — all enhanced by Vitamin J’s fine work.

And finally, we head back to Brazil with Bebeto – Oasis (Baume Edit). Our friend Baume blesses us with a delicate and beautifully produced edit of this Brazilian gem by Bebeto. The work behind it is so smooth it’s barely perceptible. Rewarped and rearranged, “Oasis” is already cemented as a perfect emotional party-starter. The drums and percussion are spot-on, bringing the beautiful voice of Bebeto to the forefront.
