<p>It&#8217;s time for our sixth Agility V/A compilation, and once again, label boss Uto Karem has rounded up seven earth-shattering offerings which represent our sound at the moment.&nbsp; Dema kicks things off with the cavernous &#8220;Chilling&#8221;, after which Many Reasons loop things out with &#8220;Out Of Control&#8221;.&nbsp; If you&#8217;re looking for some bass-heavy action, D-Deck has got you covered and Tony Dee will bring out the subs in style.&nbsp; David Dega and Nino Bua team up for the aptly-titled &#8220;Come Play&#8221;, Yado Atiz brings out the quirky riffs, and Unique (CRO) closes up with a mangled vocals and a rubber-band bassline.</p>

For our final record of the year, we turn to Glasgow's man of the year - Denis Sulta.

Like a good chunk of the Numbers family, he has earnt his stripes working at the coalface of techno aka Rubadub. He has crafted two excellent twelves for our bare-chested cousins at Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and is beginning to carve himself out a reputation as a DJ of some repute, expertly blending in the bangers with Sulta-certified weirdness. Denis is part of a new wave of Glaswegian artists who are doing amazing things and whose music is continuously exciting us.

‘It’s Only Real’ created by Sulta during a burst of inspiration one Sunday, takes us back to a time when techno was intricately melodic but still kicked hard in the club. Made with only the purest of intentions and a dedication to the art of moving heads and feet.

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

The release closes with the more groove and bass line laden ‘Together’. One of those tracks that is guaranteed to get stuck in your head…

Dark Love - Popping with drums over a rising tide of beautiful vocals reminiscent of Moby, this track blends all kinds of influences to bring a sound as fascinating as it is danceable. Old school tech house beats lay the groundwork to get bodies moving while bringing in trance effects to send this song skyward, making for a crowd-pleasing groove that has something for everyone.

Binaryh bounces back to Steyoyoke Black with two original productions under the 'Boolean Logic'. This EP is a mirror image of the necessity to find right and wrong without considering the paths which brought us to our conclusions.

'Algorithm' sets the tone for the EP with a tantalizing, haunting melody. The algorithm behind 'Algorithm' can be deduced through noting the simplistic, yet powerful, manner of arrangement, coupled with the art of storytelling brought forth by Binaryh.

'Parallels' can be heard as a reflection of our environment's innate reasoning behind similar behavioural patterns with opposing views. Parallels, contrastingly so, find ways to operate with respect to reacting to the other. The contrast of the deep bass lines with the sharp, piercing synthetic sounds showcase a human's unfathomable desire to be different, yet accepted.

Binaryh has conveyed his artistic talents through two all-encompassing tracks to create this 'Boolean Logic' EP, telling an important story of history, logic, maths, and philosophy along the way.
