Fabian Argomedo makes his debut on Agile with some hip-shaking grooves and bounce galore. &#8220;Breaking Bass&#8221; boasts a crackling rhythm section complete with skipping hi-hats that never let up. Vocal snippets add the necessary high end touch while a sneaky piano loop makes its appearance subtly, and a warped crooner takes center stage and dominates the rest of the track. Label boss Uto Karem strips a few things away but adds extra percussion while keeping the affair in looped mode. The rubber-band bass makes sure no momentum is lost, and his version makes heavy use of the piano before leading us into an apocalyptic, Uto Karem-styled breakdown.

Tony Dee brings the horror to Agile with these two spooky cuts, showcasing the tales of the dark side with every twist and turn that his production skills offer to us. 
On the aptly titled &#8220;Psyko&#8221; the shadowy ride is dominated by a rise-and-fall bass which leaves plenty of room for the cavernous effects to roll out and set the apocalyptic tone. Looping vocals and tiny snippets come together and unfold throughout the track, adding the fuel of madness to the proverbial fire. 
 Moving on to &#8220;Scatter&#8221;, the snapping rhythm section takes control and holds the weighty pads and eerie strings which still nod to the dark, while a swinging bassline kicks things up a notch. As things progress, pitched-down vocals and effects subtly lead to a frantic synth riff which blends hypnotically into the claustrophobic midnight air.

The one and only Hollen goes straight for the jugular with this EP, allowing his shadowy tendencies and intricate programming to shine in these two tracks. 
 The galloping bass of &#8220;Arpeus&#8221; hits the nail on the head and is accompanied by mysterious electronics and subtle chords. Earth-moving effects and otherworldly washes hold the vibe down and allow rolling synths to take control and push the momentum even further. 
 Things get more groovy on &#8220;Scarlett&#8221;, with pumping pads in full force and persistent percussion creating maximum impact. Sharp claps lead the way, while the crackling rhythm section and juicy bassline kick things up one more notch.

Can you believe it? Fall of 2014 marks the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of YOSHITOSHI, the seminal record label founded by Deep Dish in 1994. To celebrate, we are bringing the classics back, remastered and with new remixes from an amazing group of heavy hitters from all corners of the dance world.

Given that Yoshitoshi’s roots are ingrained in house music, it’s only fitting to start the #YoshiClassics campaign with Eddie Amador’s “House Music”. A true Yoshitoshi classic released in 1998 that went on to become a global phenomena. The hypnotic rhythm and infectious “Not Everyone Understands House Music” has become the preach anthem for generations of dance music lovers.

Mastiv makes his Agile debut by demonstrating his effortless style and impeccable skills in all three of the cuts.&nbsp; The title track is up first and sets the tone perfectly with a sleazy bassline, commanding stabs and soaring synths.&nbsp; &#8220;Dr. Dachno&#8221; picks up in the same vein, led by the driving bass, while electronics are graciously sprinkled on top of the crystal-clear production.&nbsp; Closing up with &#8220;Schmutz&#8221;, we are introduced to a discordant vibe as warped synthesis takes center stage and otherworldly effects propel the affair to the next level.

Lewis returns to Agile, and the title track of the EP clearly shows his tendencies with haunting melodies taking center stage and the rhythm section effortlessly grinding away.&nbsp; The subliminal vibe continues on &#8220;Analyze&#8221;, yet the momentum is kicked up a notch for maximum effect while mangled vocal snippets are interlocked with the drums, and spacious effects lace the whole affair with class.

Devid and Luca team up for two juicy tracks, and &#8220;Elephant&#8221; is up first with its sticky bassline and grinding rhythm section.&nbsp; The focus shifts to the haunting stabs and the affair is completed by otherworldly effects working away subliminally.&nbsp; 
&#8220;Memory&#8221; takes a slightly different route as manic chords provide the momentum, and the bubbling bass intertwines with the looped-out vocal snippets in the background.

Since the beginning of the Nineties, Mark Broom is an institution within the British Tech-House scene. As a DJ, the former London Eastender and now Norfolk resident Broom is rocking international clubs from the likes of the Fuse in Brussels or the Fabric in London for more than 20 years now, but especially his productions for Warp, R&amp;S and Pure Plastic, the label he runs together with studio partner Dave Hill, have defined the hypnotic sound of a whole generation of British clubbers. After Broom has remixed tracks by Gennaro Le Fosse and Johannes Heil for Cocoon Recordings, it was now unquestionably time for a musical exclamation mark under his own name. And so, the Rave mix of "SQ18" is setting a hedonistic imperative for the club year 2012 right from the beginning, quite naturally interspersing a Mentasm rave signal after about three minutes within its driving Detroit Dub Techno, but never conveys the sense of nostalgic mustiness. Well, that's what you can justifiably call a Techno bomb! Next, with "Forward", Broom celebrates an opus that is a bit more rooted in the traditions of Detroit strings, that is reaching for the sky – a track where some people may inevitably think of, for instance, DJ Rolando's best tracks. In any case, with the sound boldness and the maximum of dancefloor service of those tracks, Broom puts the musical evolution of modern electronic dance music in a nutshell.
For all digital DJs, there's a more deep version of "SQ18" included as a bonus track.

The label boss The Advent teams up with Spiriakos and they deliver a great release for Kombination Research. The original mix of 'Point Of No Return' is a smooth techno production that builds early on with some nice beats and some subtle effects. Filterheadz deliver their remix on the flip and maintain some of the quirky vibe in the drum work.
