Continuing in the fine tradition of stomping grooves, I am extra excited to unveil the second instalment of the AGILITY Various Artists Compilation series. Fabian Argomedo kicks things off with classy shuffling and gigantic subs, later allowing a disjointed soulful vocal to spice things up. Rafa Barrios&#8217; picks up from there with some intense rollage and smooth bass, and &#8220;Yacid&#8221; from Ramiro Lopez holds things down with a mighty rhythm section and busy snare edits. 
&nbsp; Things take a completely different turn with &#8220;Trauma&#8221;, where a rubber-band bass permeates the thick atmospherics and intricately programmed elements.&nbsp; Sean Collier adds some welcomed bleakness to the package which leads to Juan Ddd&#8217;s cheekily titled &#8220;Dead In My Garden&#8221;, bringing the dizzyness from the ever-fluctuating bassline.

Uto Karem teams up with usual Agile suspect Ramiro Lopez for a sleek, nocturnal ride full of twists and turns. 
 &#8220;Breaking&#8221; gallops along with an infectious bassline and the now-trademarked snare action we&#8217;ve come to expect. Pitched-down vocals command respect and reverence as they lead the breakdown to a mayhemic climax. 
 On &#8220;Boundaries&#8221;, the crackling rhythm section paves the way for a constantly evolving stab that runs throughout the whole track, over rumbling subs and bubbling low-end percussion which emanates pure class.

Firm drums and driving hat grooves pave the way for an onslaught of ethereal- laced melodies embraced by a soulful female vocal hook, blending in and out of atmospheric breakdowns to carve out a stunning opening track.

‘Artificial Awareness’ comes next, bringing racy ominous vibes from the outset. Another impressive display of synth-led techno is on display here, building around gritty electronic textures, glitchy fills and a robotic vox to deliver a darkened peak-time stomper.

‘Future World’ closes the release with a moody interplanetary persona, highlighting more of HNGT’s boundless creativity and writing skills. A constant ebb and flow of climatic builds and potent drops with progressively expansive soundscapes and futuristic nuances throughout to round off a profound debut.

'Dark Underground' is a sinister trip that stands broad shouldered as it marches over the dance floor. Granite drums, roaring bass synths and a standout vocal are at the core of the recording and together these elements course forwards alongside propulsive stabs treated with wide, cavernous reverb.
