Sophisticated – das Wort trifft es am besten, wenn wir das neue „Ton Terrinchen“ von Nils Mann hören. Feinste Sahne wurde da zusammen gemixt. Der Saarbrücker führt uns wieder mal smooth durch alle möglichen Genres, diesmal aus dem gesamten Spektrum der jazzorientierten House- und Electronicmusik der ganzen Welt. Also Respekt an den Mann — da hat jemand seine Aufgabe wirklich elegant und mit einer tollen, tiefgehenden, fein abgestimmten Selektion gelöst. Vom ersten Takt an, knistert es schon heiß auf der Rille, wenn Lindsay Todd & Nick Moore von Firecracker Recordings den Ton angeben. Weltgewandt geht es auch dann gleich weiter mit einem Track von Stuggi - Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble), geschmeidigstes Deep-Disco-House in einem Mix vereint. Kultiviert fährt der Nu-Disco-Zug weiter mit Metro Area „DAS“ Duo aus Brooklyn. Morgan Geist & Darshan Jesrani würden sich sicher darüber freuen. Geistreich gehts dann weiter mit Ame, Henrik Schwarz. Intellektuell schließt der Mix mit Ben Klock, Precious System und Portable ab. Noch Fragen?

Diesen Mix habe ich schon seit einer Ewigkeit in meinem Herzen. Die Patten sind seit Beginn meiner Sammelleidenschaft vor über 10 Jahre in meiner Plattenkiste gelandet und touren seitdem Seite an Seite mit mir durch die letzte Dekade. Nun sind wir hier - im Sommer 2022 - die Puzzleteile haben sich zusammengesetzt und der Mix hat seinen Platz gefunden.

Ein Mann, ein Mixer, zwei Turntables!

Der aus Spanien stammende und in Saarbrücken lebende Nicolas Molina ist gerade mit seiner vierten Ton Terrine in die City geknattert. (#14, #24, #28). Mr. Molina, der immer eine Hand an den „Wheels“ hält, in Rotation mit der Vergangenheit jongliert und mit einem Pitch nach vorne für seine Zuhörer durch ein hyperdimensionales Wurmloch in völlig neue Soundgalaxis springt. Mit seiner aktuellen 3er LP Compilation „The Sound of Twin Town“ zusammen mit Stachy.DJ konnte er auf internationaler Ebene die Presse überzeugen. Darunter das Faze Magazin, Electronic Groove und T.H.E. Music Essential (Links stehen unten für euch). Er begeistert Musikliebhaber und Tänzer mit seiner speziellen Mischung aus Indie-Dance bis hin zu melodischen Diskobomben, kreiert eine Rakete aus Drum-Machine-Grooves und vertrippten Lofi-Vocals. Alles ganz nach dem Motto: BackToTheFuture!

Nico hat uns eine Botschaft mitgebracht:

Krisen sind anscheinend die neue Normalität – Energetisch aufgeladene Tracks mit Vocals, wie „Wake Up“ oder „Free“, haben mir dabei geholfen nicht unterzugehen und wieder aus dem Stillstand herauszufinden. Es entstand eine Musikauswahl zwischen Space Dub, Indie-Dance und Deep Italo Disco House, die mich mit intensiv melodischen Elementen und hyperbolischen Arpeggiators immer wieder auf eine Reise in eine andere Welt geschickt haben. Im Sinne der notwendigen Gezeitenwende ist auch mein neuer Wahlspruch aus dem Film, den viele kennen: „it’s time to go back to the future!“

Hans Peter dropt seine dritte Ton Terrine und nimmt uns mit in die Welt des deepen Dubsteps. 
Die Tracks sind wieder knallermässig selektiert aus den Hochburgen der Szene, von Rotterdam über Prag bis nach Südwales. DrK taucht ein in zeitgenössische Sounds, um uns die tiefere Seite des Dubstep schmackhaft zu machen. Durchdrungen von starken Roots- Einflüssen ist der Mix ein guter Beweis für seine Fähigkeiten als DJ verschiedene Stile zu einem zusammenhängenden Ergebnis facettenreich zu verweben. Sowohl eindringlich melodisch mit subtilen Effekten wird hier eine hypnotische Klanglandschaft erzeugt. Sehr befriedigend ist das Ergebnis für die geneigte Hörerschaft. Wieder mal zeigt DrK sein einzigartiges Verständnis und einen tiefen Respekt für die Produzenten dieser innovativen lebendigen Szene.

Heute geht die Reise durch Dub, Deep Dubstep, Grime und Cineastische Bass Music, ohne zu ahnen was als nächstes um die Ecke kommt, wie im richtigen Leben, welches sich gleichzeitig verlangsamt, deshalb konstant in 140bpm, wie ein Dampfschiff auf der Donau. :-)

Stachy.DJ mixt die magische fünfzig. Kennengelernt haben wir uns 2009 mit aUtOdiDakT & Toni Tress, StacyG. aka Stachy.DJ auf der C/O Pop mit unserem Trip auf der "Messemeile der Popkultur" in Köln. Traktor Records und Twin Town fusionierten für ein langes Wochenende zu den "TraktorTwins" und MySpace.com sponsorte unseren Messestand mit dem glorreichen Motto: "Freilaufende Künstler in artgerechter Haltung". Wir Underdogs sind damals fulminant gestartet. Stachy.DJ hat den Minimesse-Floor mit überdimensionierter P.A. in Grund & Boden gerockt und der "Kompakt Party" ordentlich Konkurrenz gemacht. "KRAWALL UND REMMIDEMMI". Nicht nur die Feststellung das unsere Standorte, Sankt Ingbert und Radebeul, tatsächlich Partnerstädte sind, Stachy.DJ & Toni Tress pflegen und hegen bewusst schon jahrelang die Interessen im permanenten musikalischen Wirtschafts- und Innovationsaustausch. Abseits des B2Bs ist auch eine respektvolle Freundschaft entstanden, die unsere OST-WEST Beziehungen durchaus stärkt.

Doch es gibt da noch eine andere Seite die Stachy.DJ inne hat. Er ist stolzer dreifacher Vater und in dieser echten Funktion ein wahrer Pendeldiplomat, der es nicht immer einfach hat die richtigen Worte bei seinen Girls zu finden. Schwierig im Spagat den Seiltanz über den Vulkan zu schaffen, der immer wieder bedrohlich nah vor dem Ausbruch steht. Eine falsche Bewegung, ein falsches Wort und die Türen gehen in de Radebeuler Kinderzimmern schneller zu, als die Zug Tür des japanischen Schnellzugs "SHINKANSEN". Auch da durfte ich dabei sein. Er diskutiert viel und leidenschaftlich. Immer mit nordischen Humor der alten "Fischmob"-Note, gerne mal süß-sauer wie bestes eingewecktes polnisches Kwidzyn und ganz bestimmt mit Schalk im Nacken.

Nun alles zu sagen, vieles zu wissen und dann doch geballt das Leder an die Latte zu zimmern, um den Treffer in der Thematik zu landen ist, denke ich, bei Kids sau, sau schwierig. Was gibt es da besseres, als alter DJ-Fuchs die Taktik anzuwenden, andere Größen des BIZ das Wort zu überlassen? Der Meister schweigt, drückt dafür auf Play und sagt zu den Mädels: "ONLY FEMALE-HIPHOP HURRRRAAAYYY"!!!
