Belgian black metal masters ENTHRONED premiere second brand new song entitled "Of Shrines and Sovereigns". Band's upcoming 10th album, "Sovereigns", is scheduled for a April 15th worldwide release via Agonia Records.

At long last, Norwegian black metal vanguard TORTORUM return with Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. It's been two years since the release of the band's critically acclaimed second album, Katabasis, and in that time, ubiquitous drummer Dirge Rep has amicably departed TORTORUM's ranks. Bloodied but unbowed, the trio saw fit to record an all-new mini-album, bearing the ominous title Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. This title is prescient, and wholly descriptive of the six-track record's contents. Moving at a slower, more methodical pace, Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. stomps forward with a hideous energy that literally feels DEAD. Like a reanimated corpse or malignant specter, the TORTORUM of Rotten. Dead. Forgotten. has turned a new and no-less-harrowing page here, largely leaving behind the orthodox speed of their massive first two albums and striking upon largely unexplored terrain where space and shade are blackened to a crisp and are patiently pushed forward with a palatable sense of maturity. Then again, the fire of old does occasionally ignite across the mini-album's six, comparably more stretched-out tracks, suggesting that the future is wide open for this equally surprising/dependable band. And like always, TORTORUM are no strangers to the stage, and will soon be defiling them across Europe with a sound that's truly Rotten. Dead. Forgotten.

Californian Death Metal sickheads RUDE are back with the second album named „Remnants...“. Nobody less than the mighty artist Dan Seagrave is responsible for the amazing coverartwork. Well known mostly from the early '90s artwork-masterpieces of Entombed, Morbid Angel, Malevolent Creation, Suffocation, Dismember and tons more...he's still one of the greatest artists worldwide.

On „Remnants...“ the band present 9 brandnew filthy and authentic classic Death Metal songs still in the vein of Pestilence, Morbid Angel or Nocturnus. No drum-trigger, no bombast, no bullshit...just DEATH METAL to the bone.

As a small country, the Dutch are far from doing bad when it comes to their contribution to the black metal scene, on the contrary and Tarnkappe proved this in 2014 with “Tussen Hun en de Zon”, a largely left unnoticed record of great magnitude, shame on you all! As a project of two members of bands such as Kjeld, Salacious Gods, Lugubre these guys are deeply rooted in the underground.

‘Winterwaker’ (meaning “Guardian of Winter” in English) by Tarnkappe is the follow-up that proves this quality-approach in full. In this case you will be caught by surprise totally, since this is a classic Black Metal album that needs to be heard. We would dare say this the traditional 90’s Black Metal record we all have been waiting for, records like this are not made anymore...

If you enjoy your Black Metal with an organic, natural sound, Tarnkappe will be on your to get. We would say that Tarnkappe revives the old 90’s Scandinavian spirit in full, but this would not justify what this band has achieved here. They are original enough to have their own sound. Great songs, razorsharp guitar riffs, insane vocals and a topnotch production is what you get. A hypnotizing, gloomy setting that makes this release sound ritualistic and captivating. All delivered in an ice-cold artwork.

If you like it cold, grim and traditional, and still feel melancholic on the early 90’s scene, then you need Tarnkappe!
