The Anatomy of Loneliness — EP

Dive deep into the fragile, aching body of solitude — where loneliness mutates the skin and silence becomes a wound.

Each track explores a different facet of loneliness:

phantom touches that never land,

fragile bodies cracking under silence,

the desperate warmth of self-contact,

the death of language in isolation,

and rooms that breathe on without you.

This is more than music — it’s a study of loneliness, internal disintegration, and emotional neglect. Inspired by the Japanese phenomenon of Hikikomori (extreme social withdrawal),
The Anatomy of Loneliness becomes a sonic dissection of the body and mind under prolonged absence of connection.

The project is also a very personal journey through trauma:

Noriko Mori brings in traditional Japanese instruments while working through the loss of her brother, who had withdrawn from the world as a hikikomori before taking his own life. With this EP, she faces the silence he left behind — and turns it into a voice
