Release Info: 
Juicebox Music's 62nd release sees Mike Rish's 3-track EP "The Quest", originally released in late 2021, getting a fresh breath of life with a set of remixes. The Melbourne (Australia) based artist made his debut on our imprint with his deep, yet powerful remix of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan and swiftly followed it up with a magnificient release which earned high praises & support. Mike Rish furthered his sonic mark with releases on GMJ & Matter's 'meanwhile' as well as James Beetham's 'Last Night Music'. To celebrate "The Quest" EP, we called upon Kabi, EMPHI, Haen & MONé to rework all three tracks from the EP - "The Quest", "Enter" & "Tuumla".

First up is Buenos Aires (Argentina) based artist - Lucas Khabie aka Kabi, who makes his return to the imprint after his chart-topping "Lost In Roses" EP with K Loveski. His dreamy and club-effective style caught the attention of the progressive community, namely through his body of work on Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' & Mango's 'Mango Alley', to name a few. Releasing quality over quantity, his attention to detail is evident. For his latest offering, Kabi injects his signature style into Mike Rish's "The Quest", turning it into a deep yet driving interpretation whilst retaining the magical melodic moments.

Nikola Jovanovic - Proxy (Original Mix)

Pioneering Argentinian organic and progressive house female-producer Bodai returns to her 6 year-old Label AMITABHA to deliver a 3-track EP, showcasing her singing, song-writing, and multi-disciplinary talents. Written in her home-studio during pandemic times, Gisele Bruno aka Bodai, born in 1985 explains she was inspired by the pop-music sounds from the decade she grew up in. The EP is called 'Calling My Name', including also an organic, yet melodic house piece called 'If You Don't Find Me', and a breaks-track called 'On My Mind'. The EP will be followed by Club Remixes from renowned artists coming this second part of the year. Out Next August 16th. Spread the love! 🌙

The lone interpretation of 'Petrichor' is provided by Emi Galvan who returns to Movement for his third appearance. The Argentinean artist continues to be an incredible talent and time and time again proves to be one of the most musically gifted producers in the progressive underground. As an artist who chooses his projects wisely Emi has found a home on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, ICONYC and Manual Music. Now making a welcome return to Movement, Emi closes the release out with a stunning interpretation of 'Petrichor'. Fluid and rhythmic from the outset, mounds of bass roll while lively percussion and gentle strums adorn the framework. Emi's true artistry shines during the main break, adding his own vocal which advances the storyboard to a unique and heavenly place, before an intense build eventually reveals the swing heavy groove once more. Yet another inspired piece of music from Emi which rounds out a monumental Movement Recordings debut for Huminal, who by all accounts are a duo who operating at their creative peak.
