Inspired by ESPN's compilation series of "Jock Jamz" It featured music from the mid-1990s that mainly consisted of classic 1980s and 1990s dance music. It also had some house music, hip-hop & classic disco music. I put a little bit of a twist on it and added variations of modern day music that I feel inspired or was inspired by the time periods music with genre's like Trap, Dubstep, Future Bass and Electro House.

Inspired by " Area 51 Presents Alex and Alyson Grey 3rd Visionary Art Fair" Dec.14th in Asheville NC. I performed a set in an Art Gallery after I heard one of the most beautiful and inspiring lectures from Alex Grey. This is my reflection and contribution to his visual representation of our sacred art in the form of sound. Set was also built upon the love and art that I shared with my singer and dancer SaharaCat Merlion. I greatly appreciate her motivation and elevation of the sounds played in this mix.

Seductive and whimsical, Perkulat0r's debut release "Transcension", released on Gravitas Recordings, is quite a special conception. As the winner of last year's Minnesota remix contest, this young producer has set the bar high with every deep, textured song he's devised. I used two photos of his. 
One of a beautiful tropical mushroom patch on a log and I took a picture of his arm that he took and put it in place of the log. 

The first picture really just struck me with internal beauty.. it resonated in me and reminded me of when I had Ian's ashes in my hands at the lake and I was really ready to just let go of all the pain and leave space for the tide of happiness to just rush in. We just have to let go of that pain. It is equally important to have but to let go. As soon as I felt that resonation of realization come to its exponential humm I instantly saw Ian smiling back at me from the water. 
Biggest. Smile. Ever. 
Second picture is of this man's beautiful bear arm. I love how people would always ask if we were brothers. I was honored. Seeing a part of him leave has made me deeply see a part of myself leave in a way I have never felt before. It inspired me to work harder and do more. It left room for lots of new people to come into my life and I can not thank him enough for this experience. In memory of you. I dedicate this to you.

For me to remember and I want to share it with you.
Once you free something from your mind. It will be free to roam in nature. One day you will see them again. Maybe in the sky. Maybe in yourself. Maybe in a patch of mushrooms. Maybe in the lake. Or even in the same fire that took their organic beings from this planet.
You will meet again.

Roam in peace my friend. 

PLF Sunrise Set 2

Love is important to this world and just as healthy as it is to do internally I think that there should be a balance externally too. I want to do my best as a person to set an example to show love unconditionally to all my friends and fans of my music and make mixes for them... kinda like how you would do on a cassette tape! Just the time and energy that I took into gathering these songs and mixing them really not only helped me better expand my knowledge to music , the artist and my self as an artist but of course my friend Ann. She is such a loving and giving person with her therapeutic massaging ( https://www.facebook.com/firelightarts ) but she also is into herbalism and sharing the knowledge and that communal love of the planet.
