A planetary system consists of non-stellar objects orbiting a star, such as planets, natural satellites, asteroids, meteors, comets and cosmic dust. Since June 20, 2018, there are 3796 exoplanets in 2840 systems, with 632 systems having more than one planet. There are still 2.724 candidates waiting for CONFIRMATION. The planetary system to which the planet earth belongs is called the solar system. To the rest, it gives the name of an extrasolar.
