Bow Kid replaces Frisk. She's very similar to the most common fanon personality for her: shy, but determined and cheerful all the same... most of the time. (Let's just say that certain routes in this game don't really do her a lot of favors.) After hearing Tim's story about what happened to Hat Kid, which had been kept under wraps for years, Bow sets off on a rescue mission. She's determined to save Harriet and put everything right... one way or another. And since this AU runs on narrator!Frisk, you get to hear a lot of Bow's internal thoughts throughout your journey!
Tim, the CEO of Time, takes a *heavily reduced* Chara role. While he isn't the "narrator" of this world, nor he is related in any fashion to Mustache Girl (the Asgore/Asriel replacement,) he DOES tell Bow the opening story about how Hat Kid and the planet Earth were deemed "lost causes" and abandoned.

Snatcher takes on an expanded Napstablook role. With him unable to properly do anything to the plentiful Mafia freeloaders in Subcon (and being bitter to no end because of that fact,) when Snatcher finds Bow in his forest, he tries to make HER sign a contract (and thus steal her soul) instead... only to once again be thwarted almost immediately by Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia.
When Bow next meets Snatcher later on, this time on her own, the purple ghost's new goal is to “make your lifeless body sign a contract for you," being his usual bastard self all the while.

The ever-agitated Mafia Boss takes on a hybrid Flowey and Mad Dummy role. He already wasn't a pleasant guy before (being mashed into mush and stuck in a jar certainly didn't help,) but ever since Mustache Girl took control, his anger has been off the charts! Above all else, he wants to get his body back and have his revenge on the red-hooded brat, and he sees Bow as the *perfect ticket* to grabbing the Time Pieces unhindered. He is encountered several times throughout the story, even beyond Subcon Forest, with this meeting in the Nyakuza Hideout being the penultimate one.

Subcon Forest is the "Ruins" of this world. Mustache Girl's shenanigans with the Time Pieces left Mafia Town permanently covered in lava, forcing all of the Mafia (+ Cooking Cat) to relocate to more hospitable territory. In spite of its spookiness and cursed vibes, Subcon Forest actually fit the bill pretty nicely... much to Snatcher's dismay. Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia are now the guardians of this new Mafia settlement, protecting the Mafia from Snatcher (and oftentimes their own stupidity.)

Here's the first completely new track for this account, and it's a guest track to boot! My boi Kristian did a really great job, and I had a fun time finalizing the mix on this one. Rly glad to have the Ruins replacement track at last!
There are some more new tracks in the works via commissions from a few musicians, some from Kristian and some not, but those are a ways off from being finished. Rest assured that I haven't forgotten about this AU though, and I'm always thinking of new ideas of my own! (Whether they wind up working out or not is another story entirely lmao.) The CAW Agents replace Muffet in this AU. After Mustache Girl's line of "bad guys" got too long to judge, she gave up on "proper" justice altogether. She uses the CAW Agents as her beaks on the ground, to keep everyone in line. She gave them new uniforms with her insignia, and appointed one CAW Agent that she gave a red outfit as the leader. Nowadays however, the CAW Agents' actions are almost never based on any actual orders from Mu, cause said orders are *no longer coming.* ...Not that the general public would know this, at any rate.
Everyone, especially Hat Kid and the Conductor, dislikes them for constantly bugging everybody with asinine questions.

But fr tho, this should be the last time I touch the Spider Dance for a fat minute. Wanted to swap in some motifs and chord progressions from Fighting Spirit (the Mad Mew Mew replacement,) albeit with a fair few adjustments, and add some more jazzy instruments/parts - especially in the ending section. Also it's only part of the opening (and only a small section of it,) but I FINALLY managed to work an actual motif even vaguely related to the CAW Agents into the melody - Murder on the Owl Express!

Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia share the Toriel role. They both watch over the settlement in Subcon Forest, trying to keep the Mafia safe from danger (self-imposed or otherwise.) Notably though, Cookie is the only one to talk to Bow Kid unprompted, even during the tutorial fight in which this Anticipation plays. This is but the start of a trend, as Bow's very presence pushes Cooking Cat and Goofy Mafia's bond to its very limit, and maybe even beyond...
As for "this minion," that's one of *Snatcher's* many minions in Subcon Forest. Don't worry though; it's not actually possible to kill them on most routes!

Mafia Goon is just general enemy. Child might see Mafia outside of forest, but Mafia isn't very sure. Mafia try to PUNCH child, child must defend self from Mafia. Sometimes, Mafia manage to hurt self, or even catch fish! ...Mafia can be duller than sack of bricks.

Moonjumper replaces Gaster. After escaping the Horizon, they're just barely holding on to their existence. Glitchy as anything, their form phasing in and out of view, distorted speech... the works. MJ desires to finally get a proper foothold in this world once more, but needs Bow Kid’s help... help that they'll never get on the Pacifist and Neutral routes, as it requires Bow to do things that she'd normally never do. But as much of a fool's errand as it is, Moonjumper fights Bow on those two routes anyway when she encounters them at the broken giant hourglass. You aren't really able to lose to them, as they heal you right when you would be about to die, but hey! No pain, no [[game]], am I right? ...If nothing else, it gives time for em to get some cryptically cynical thoughts off their chest. Having to leave your thoughts to fester while constantly being mere inches away from non-existence, and corrupted beyond comprehension, kinda does that to a guy lmaoooo. 
After the fight however, Moonjumper says a few more things that SEEM to indicate the tiniest amount of hope, then just fades away without a trace, their grasp on existence being weakened just enough for it to slip completely... for a while at any rate. =)

That's right folks, I finally bothered to do a NYCTBA counterpart for the string bean! I was originally going to just not have one, since there wouldn't be a place for it to play, but then I realized... that's fucking dumb! Alpine Skyline, alongside the major areas within that it entails, replaces the Snowdin Forest. While the mountain range was mostly spared from the larger consequences of Mu's Time Piece smashing, the area's own inherent quirks led to some... strange things. Snow appearing in places where it shouldn't be, structures that once stood proud for eons needing to be repaired (or even rebuilt,) and the list goes on. The Nomads and Goats still live very happy lives here though, these are moreso minor inconveniences for them than anything else. Now Bow Kid, on the other hand! She's got a long road ahead before she can make it out of the Alpine.

So uhhh yup, turns out this AU isn't just angst. It's now angst with a Snowy replacement! XD
Ok but for real tho, I'm so incredibly happy with how this turned out. I didn't want to just have 5 different Snowy replacements for each separate area of the Alpine Skyline (cause goddamn it please show my account's minutes SOME form of mercy,) yet I figured merging together different aspects of several tracks into one might somewhat make up the difference while still fitting what I wanted to go for. And Kristian did a fantastic job at doing just that! Just about the only part of the Alpine that wound up not being represented in SOME way (major or minor) was the Lava Cake, but `cut us some slack here man this was so fuckin hard to even come up with the idea for lmaooooo.` The track gave me vibes of Mount Pajamaja's themes from Mario and Luigi Dream Team (albeit likely unintentional,) so I ran with that a wee bit more while finalizing the mix.

Some Alpine Pompous Crow-nies replace Dogamy and Dogaressa, and the Slighty Bigger Alpine Pompous Crow (their leader) takes on the role of Lesser Dog. The Crow-nies have leather jackets... somehow. And when I say that their leader is a Slighty Bigger crow, I really mean *Slightly.* Like... only 1-2 inches.
Mafia Boss siccs them on Bow during a Pacifist/Neutral route, just to be an annoyance. She'll come out on top, but not before dealing with some Greased Lightning. ...You know, fried chicken sounds really good right about now.
