This is just a 2-min preview of a full 6-minute+ remix. I chose one of the most iconic songs by the legendary Bob Marley (whom I've never remixed before), and combined it with a little Nina Simone ("See-Line Woman"), and with a touch of Afrobeat influence inspired by Fela Kuti to bring together the spirit of 3 of some of the most revolutionary Black artists I look up to, and in the feeling of returning home to Africa, either in spirit or literally, as the message Marcus Garvey (also featured in this clip) gave long ago sounds louder and more inviting in these days & times in which we live. At the very least, I feel people of the African diaspora, no matter where they are based, should increasingly connect more with one another, finding our very common ground in both our struggle as well as our beautiful heritage linked to the the Motherland! 🌍

As long as ONE of us is not free, ALL are not! We need each other and we ARE connected! "Back to Africa" does not have to be a literal exodus, but it MUST be a mental one; we must think and move as a global community, empowering one another, fighting our common enemy of racism and white supremacy propaganda, but also bridging our language and sub-cultural barriers and invest in each other, trade, collaborate, visit, and create together. It's not a dream...it's already occurring, we just need more of it, on an increasing scale.

Well, after having many tracks on Soundcloud, include various remixes that were up for years without any issue, SC started throwing strikes at me left and right, even with those I had proof I had permission to post, but they decided to take down my former page: (at)22music, inclusive of the thousands of wonderful followers who've joined me over the years.

So now I start back from the very beginning, the ground up, and hopefully many of you will find me again as well as newcomers who are hearing my work for the first time--and this time it will only be MY original work (or remixes that are verified)! lol Either way, I hope you take yet another journey again with me as I push the envelope with even more music, more positive vibrations, and more influences from around the world as I infuse my travels into my sounds...
