Camel - Rhayader - By The Kids Band

Over the last five years, Mister Saturday Night has become something of a Brooklyn institution, a well-curated, well-organized party run by a couple of bonafide music lovers, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin. Guided by an open-minded musical vision (albeit one that leans heavily toward, house, techno, and disco), a real reverence for the salad days of NYC nightlife, and a concrete idea of what a party should—and should not—be, the two DJs have steadily built a substantial following on the dancefloor. Moreover, the two have earned a real sense of respect from their peers, especially those who appreciate Mister Saturday Night's attention to detail and its founders' obvious passion for their craft. In 2012, Carter and Harkin expanded their efforts and launched their own label, Mister Saturday Night Records, kicking off its run with Anthony Naples' Mad Disrespect 12", which was widely hailed as one of the year's best records. Since then, the high-quality stream of music has continued unabated, as the young label has offered up efforts from the likes of Archie Pelago, Dark Sky, Hank Jackson, Lumigraph, Alex Burkat, and a slew of other promising acts. With each new release, Mister Saturday Night's legacy swells just a little bit more, which is likely why the duo has increasingly found itself performing at other people's parties around the globe. Given that, we were anxious to hear what Carter and Harkin could do within the context of the XLR8R podcast series, and the pair has obliged our curiosity with an exclusive mix.

Clocking in at more than 75 minutes, the podcast finds Carter and Harkin starting slow, but the duo gradually warms up the proceedings by thickening the percussion and slowly migrating toward more kicking house and techno sounds. Their path may be filled with long, loping twists and turns, but the two DJs are far too skilled to get bogged down in any particular groove. Essentially, the mix is a microcosm of a Mister Saturday Night party, as Carter and Harkin are just an interested in constructing an engaging journey as they are in dropping good tunes. It's a simple formula, yet one that's forgotten all too often by DJs, particularly those who spend most of their time in the studio. Carter and Harkin have logged more than their fair share of hours in the club, and they're smart enough to put all of that experience to good use.

گروه کمل داستانی دراز دارد ،این گروه ایرلندی الاصل كه آن را در زمره (راك  پیشرو)  و حتی  بهترین این دسته قرار می دهند ،با سه نوازنده بلوز به نام های اندرو لاتیمر (خواننده و گیتاریست) داگ فرگوسن(گیتار باس) و اندی وارد(درامر) به همراه چهره شناخته شده بلوز انگلستان پیتر باردنز در 1972 شكل گرفت. هیچ یك از اعضاء به یاد ندارند چه زمان و به چه علت چنین نامی را برای گروه خود برگزیدند.آنها نوایی را كه گروه Caravan در روزهای اوج خود داشت را با اولین آلبوم خود با نام Camel گسترش دادند: آلبومی دلنشین ،شكل یافته از قطعات گوناگون با رنگ و بویی جز گونه در سطح بالای خود. گروه با ارائه آلبوم های بعدی خود با نامهای (سراب)1974 و (غاز برفی) 1975 گام به مسیری پیشرفته گذارد.
