Born in Athens, Greece, dPen (Yiannis Pennas) emerged as one of the most influential progressive house producers of his generation. His journey began in 2005, when his debut tracks were immediately signed by 1shot Recs and championed by global icon Hernan Cattaneo. This marked the start of a career that saw him release music on prestigious labels such as Tiësto’s Black Hole, Sudbeat, Hope Recordings, Subliminal, and Lost Language.

dPen’s productions have been remixed by acclaimed artists like Moonbeam, Eelke Kleijn, and Guy J, while his tracks earned the support of legends such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, and Armin Van Buuren. With consistent chart success on Beatport and global tours spanning cities like Moscow, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Ibiza, dPen built a loyal fan base during an era when social media was in its infancy.

After a decade-long hiatus to focus on family and business ventures, dPen returns with a reimagined sound. His new productions fuse elements of trip-hop, indie pop, downtempo, jazz, and electronica, maintaining the emotional depth and melodic precision that define his artistry.
