Great piano. I like the rain fall in the beginning too. Nice optimistic sound, it sounds kind of jazz like in parts, with the almost trumpet/sax sounding synth line. I like the reflective sound this piece has.

Hi, this is the sixth track in a series titled "Cold Planet". Been experimenting with modular synthesis, getting inspired by old masters from the fifties/sixties/seventies, but fueling it up with current tech options. Some tracks are ambient only, others got some drums & percussion added.  Most tracks were played and recorded live in one take. Peace, the shaman.

LYRICS

No material universe exists but a continuum of shifting frequencies colliding at infinite speeds. 

It is a domain of eternal coordinates, where most of its substance is dissonant noise and the remainder evolving harmonies of organized complexity and structure. 

Unlike chaos, it is an orchestra of non-random frequencies that intersect to create the myriads of cosmic notes and rhythms we perceive as matter and its laws. 

Laws that are materializations of clustered or linear coordinates that enable the emergence of particles and waves. 

Moreover, it is from the destructive and constructive entanglements of these entities that our physical universes are born and reborn, endlessly performed by the conductors of time. 

From these entanglements, existence is protected from the void where death is the absence of all frequencies, a perpetual silence where creative symphonies cannot be composed nor performed.

The Glorious Morning Mood is the 9th song of my folk album 2023 The Beauty of Nature and closes with it.
I will release the album  in December 2023.

I sent the finished folk song and 7 stems to MTM Mastering True Music Production for checking and sound improvement, which worked very well. A very nice team from Spain. Guitars and voice have now got the sound I had imagined. For me it was very worthwhile to pass this mix and mastering on to an external company. When composing and recording, mixing and mastering, your ear becomes fixed in your DAW (brain). You often don't find your sounds that good. That's why I use an external mix and mastering studio to check. I really had a very positive experience with MTM. With young ears and with professional training that completed my work.

Introduction in English:

On a Saturday, 9 June 1989, I receive a phone call from my mother at around 6 am. She seems to be laughing. But as it soon turns out, tears are bursting out of her. At first she can only say one sentence: "Your father is dead". Then her voice fails. I, who has just been roused from my sleep by the ringing, at first think it's a bad joke. My father, not even 55 years old, dead, who had been so full of energy in the last few months? With whom I had spoken lively on the phone just a week ago?
Then my eldest sister comes to the phone. She speaks like a robot, as if she has frozen all her feelings inside herself.
She confirms the sudden death of my father from a heart attack and urges me to come immediately from Berlin to southern Germany (800 kilometres away).
Much of what happened after that - from the last encounter with my father in the morgue, to the years of vacillating between feelings of liberation and sometimes massively frightening "I'll bring you to me in the realm of the dead" nightmares after his funeral, to finding a deeper inner peace with him in the last few years - I wrote down and sang about in the following song "My Father in Heaven".      
However, the song lyrics are not chronological, but set in 2011, in which I am all alone on a beautiful summer day in the cemetery where my father's grave is located. From this day I start a retrospective and an outlook.
