About E-Prosounds:
All the way out in the suburbs of Rockland County, NY, the spirit of DITC and classic 90's boom bap is strong with a 24 year old rapper/producer. E-Prosounds, formerly E-Professor (to avoid any beef with Large Pro down the road), can't stop Hip-Hop from running through his veins. Whether it's thinking of writing rhymes, tapping out beats, cutting up records, or the occasional tag, E-Pro lives and breathes this stuff.

Although he started recording rhymes on his mom's computer in High School, he started seriously conceptualizing his music in 2013. His days of listening to CD 101.9 FM Smooth Jazz and love of 90's Hip-Hop heavily influenced his somber, dense style. E-Pro's deliberate choice of a serious feel comes from his goal of making you really reflect on his music, as if you were on a subway watching graffiti pass you by. He may come across as cocky at times, but it's evenly balanced by his thoughtful opinions on deeper themes. When asked what he'd like his legacy to be like, he replied with "I'd just like to be someone who made quality music and stayed true. It'd be cool if people uploaded my music and shared it on their own, and if I get love for years to come that's good, like get respect from people I admire."

The Melt Compilation Vol. 1 is a collection of songs from these artists alongside all five of our residents who include Gossamer, Moiety, Snorlax, FuzZ, Kloud, and Djemba Djemba. The styles incorporated within the compilation span one too many sub-genres too mention. The release itself is a result of the growing community of talent that we find ourselves in each day.
