I just need to try and explain to the vast majority that the ways of this world is all in vain / living in this system and it’s structure that fluctuates and ruptures and tries to pass off as humane / it ain’t arcane / the roots of this country was founded on pain / colonize the new world and independent domain / but now we welcome the machine as the elite plot out their scheme and calling people like me the weakest link on the chain /I can spot what’s underlying but to them it’s deviant / defecting from the morals they chose for me to fit / shit, they’re pouring crazy chips up into battleships and preaching education when a fourth of the masses is illiterate / now don’t you think that’s in the least bit hypocritical / I try to be an optimist but all this keeps me cynical yo / if history truly is something repetitional / the power’s bound to fall cuz Sam’s already at his pinnacle / it’s pitiful trying to shape our mind state / playing games at high stakes keeps me irate / cuz there’s snakes in this garden and they’re watching you / thus a free country still costs a few / what do we do /

Through all these democratic policies the powers that be run like a bureaucracy / determined by one’s wealth, prestige and property / while living check to check, my state of affairs remain in poverty / been socialized to hope, but like I’m really gonna hit the lottery / it’s psycho sodomy to even think of living in harmony / to keep up the economy through political ideology / this dichotomous congress only represents hypocrisy / for the quote unquote greater good of democracy / a mockery to all of our humanity / they’re pissing in our faces till we lose all of our sanity / paying the prices of their vanity / sticking a cost on our patriotism candidly / covet other countries, covering that up with amity / it’s sad to see, but then it’s sadder if you’re blind / to their ways, feigning God’s grace for their stock lines / time after time brainwashing the populace’s minds / generation after generation of united swine /

Father Of The Man

Hello all, 
I'm back on the 'cloud.  I've been travelling a whole lot, 2 months in Central America, a west coast tour, east coast tour, a full US tour and a couple shows in Tokyo.  Phew!  I love every second of it tho.  To celebrate this season of giving I am dialing up one of my favorite Jimi Hendrix songs ever.  I hope you enjoy!
